For best results, hair should be clean and dry. Move the ON/OFF switch to the ON position. The switch is located on the opposite side of the indicator light on the digital thermometer. Then, select desired temperature on the digital thermometer. Iron has reached target temperature when blue light stops flashing.
Divide hair into 1-inch sections. Maintaining some tension, slowly side the iron down each section of hair from roots to ends. Be careful to avoid touching your hands or scalp with the hot plates. Allow hair to cool before combing or brushing. Once styling is complete, unplug the iron and allow to cool before storing.
Suggested usage temperature:
360-425 degrees F (coarse, very thick)
340-360 degrees F (wavy, curly)
320-340 degrees F (normal, textured)
300-320 degrees F (thin, easy to curl)
235-300 degrees F (fragile, very fine)
Auto shut-off feature after 60 minutes for added safety.

Ok but not worth the money
I have used many flat irons in my day but have still yet to find the perfect one. This has some great features, adjustable temperature and auto shut off. It works but not as effortlessly as some have said. I would not buy it again.

Great Results!
I am 68 years old and my hair is 90% white. It is frizzy with the consistency of cotton candy since I have aged. I have tried so many hair products to no avail. Fabulous flat iron!
I bought the Harry Josh hair dryer, and fell in love (it's the best dryer I've used, ever). So, I knew I had to give his other styling tools a try. This flat iron is also rather incredible - it heats up super fast, offers a range of temperature settings to suit your needs - but best of all, it works beautifully, without damaging my hair, better than any other flat iron I've used. I have two thumbs when it comes to my semi curly and frizzy hair. I have bought both cheap and high end blowdryers trying to get it to look decent. Oh and don't forget the hundreds of dollars in professional blowdries in salons. So enter Dafni. Yes, I saw the video and thought, no way. It looks too easy and it really can't make my hair as smooth as the girl in the video. Oh, ye of little faith! This is a miracle worker. A few tips - make sure your hair is dry, apply heat protectant and allow that to dry throughly before using it. Section your hair. I've been separating it in two, top and bottom. Go slow and apply a bit of argan oil to ends when done. I've already used it 6 times and it has paid for itself.

Obsessed with this straightener
I'm pretty lucky that my hair has a bit of a wave to it. Some pieces around my face are impossible to straighten without very high heat though. This works for me without totally frying my hair.
