Marcel clip provides extra control for use as a curling iron, but may be removed for use as curling wand for additional versatility.
To remove either spring clip or marcel clip from the barrel:
1. Turn the SPRING or MARCEL dial towards the OFF mark on the barrel.
2. Lightly pull and slide the clip off the barrel of the wand.
Attach either spring clip or marcel clip to barrel:
1. Slide the preferred clip on the barrel of the curling iron, making sure the grooves of the clip slide on the handle.
2. Turn the dial towards the SPRING or MARCEL arrow, depending on the chosen attachment.

spring clamp was not gripping well
I love the color and look of this product. I only needed the spring clamp, not the marcel (which is too advanced for me). It was easy to change out or remove the different attachments. My negatives were that the spring clamp did not squeeze down very tightly on my hair. The ends of my hair would just slip out of the iron. Also, the barrel of the iron isn't very long. My hair is medium length, and it seemed like there was nowhere for it to go unless I was only curling very small sections or only the ends. Also, even when the spring clamp was locked into the base it would still shift back and forth a bit, felt loose. I returned it.

expensive but worth it
this curling iron is a beast. it heats up quickly and my curls are so shiny and healthy looking after. it takes me less time to curl my hair now. use to glove or you will burn your hand cause this curling iron is hot! i also like that you can use this abroad as i travel a lot. has a nice protective case as well.

Wanted it to be better :(
I love Harry Josh Pro Tools, use and love all of his other tools, but this missed the mark for me. Some really frustrating design flaws caused me to return. The power button is positioned in a place that you accidentally turn it off or change the heat setting with almost every curl... I wish the barrel was about 1.5" longer and I really wish it came in a 1.5" diameter barrel! Medium-long hair girls, you can make it work at this size, but there are better options out there. The marcel attachment is the best part of this tool, which is probably the least used by non-professional consumers. When Harry comes out with a longer/larger spring iron I will be first in line!

Best curling iron ever!
I am so impressed with this curling iron. I use it all the time. I have thick and hard to curl hair and am so glad I have finally found a heat tool that works. It is easy to turn off when using because of the position of the buttons, however, it reheats quickly.

Broke almost immediately
Within a couple months of using this product, it completely stopped working. They said I could return it and they're unable to send me a return label so during a pandemic I have to go to a store and print one. And then, once it's returned, I should contact them yet again for a replacement. They're not making the return process easy for a very expensive product that should have never have stopped working in the first place. Now I don't have a working curling iron for who knows how long.

Great product but watch your heat setting
This thing gets HOT. First time I managed to burn my chin bad enough to blister. Then I learned how to turn it down. It's a great product. There is a learning curve on how to use it. The marcel clamp is still a mystery to me. I can use it to straighten my hair and and it works better than my expensive flat iron. Nice for beachy waves. Glides through the hair.
