Prefer over tretinoin
The way this retinol is formulated and delivered makes all the difference. I used to use tretinoin (Retin-A) for years but my skin has never looked as radiant and felt as good as with level 9 green cream. Yes, I still went through the initial stage of redness and peeling, but it's much more tolerable due to the inactive ingredients that compliment active ingredient.

My oily skin miracle
I am 60 years old and have very oily skin with problems of blocked pores, whiteheads under the skin and constant battle with blackheads. Lots of tedious skin cleaning until I started using this! I started out every other night as recommended with no irritation so proceeded to every night after one week. I saw results immediately - brighter, smoother skin, and in a little less than 3 weeks all those deep blocked whiteheads are gone. I rarely see blackheads now. And it does not dry out my mature skin. I have some acne scars in my cheeks and I believe use over time will smooth these out as well. Very, very happy with this product.

I purchased the strongest level- 9 of Green Cream- knowing that my skin would react with redness and peeling as I am very experienced using in retinol products. But alas, nothing happened to my sensitive skin-that was NOT acclimated to retinol- I have not used any in years!!! No stnging, no redness no peeling. Usually after one night of a retinol product I am gorgeous with some peeling and redness. Not with this cream. This can only mean one thing-it was counterfeit. Dermstore how could you?

I've been using Green Cream for a couple of years now, and I've received numerous compliments on my skin. To me, this is the Gold Standard in non-prescription retinol treatments. Start with Level 3, or 6 if you've been using other retinol products. You will have some peeling with this, but I have not experienced irritation. The peeling reveals newer, smoother skin over time. I've not seen results like this from any other product, including those that were far more expensive. You have to be committed to using it and be patient - as with any product. It's also important to follow the directions. I will never stop using this.
