It's amazing what retinol can do but it's difficult to find the right product. With all the retinol products out there, it's not easy to find the right one. I've searched high and low for a retinol that is potent BUT affordable. I've finally found it! This stuff WORKS because it's potent! It's not low grade, watered down. And the best part? It's totally affordable! I've paid TWICE as much for a product that contained half the retinol. But it's important to acclimate your skin to this SLOWLY, begin with using it once every 3rd night then gradually build up to every night. This is a serious product but don't be scared, your skin will adjust and wow! What a miracle worker. Glowing smooth skin, ahhh.. Don't pass this up. If they discontinue this, I'll go into a crisis

I started first with Green Cream Level 3. I did well with it and then decided to try Level 6. It was strong and I experienced peeling, etc. I plan to try it again after I have used level 3 longer.

I've been using Green Cream level 6 for 8 months. I now use it every night alone without applying moisturizer over it. My skin is sooo soft and bright, great pore reduction. Really see a difference in tone and brown spot removal (us Florida gals love the sun and beach). Will stay with level 6 for a few more months. Trick for gals with ultra sensitive skin like mine...go slowly, I graduated to every night just a few weeks ago. Layer (pat on, dont rub in) Josie Maran Argan oil over your retnol if you have irritation. Will still see same results.

burns my face
When I first started using this product, after 4 days, my skin was stinging and slightly peeling. I discontinued use. It took about a week for my skin to return to normal. Now that I am home recovering from surgery - I thought it may be a good time to try it again since I am not wearing makeup and not using other products. I am not on any medication - so no risk of interaction there. Again, after 4 days, my skin looks windburned - and I was only using it sparingly at night, not morning and night. I have never had an issue with my skin being sensitive before this product. I am now using aloe vera gel to try to repair my face.

Seemingly good product for renewing skin over time
I've been using this cream for a few weeks now and, so far, it definitely seems capable of minimizing acne and making the skin lightly peel/encouraging cell turnover. As per the directions (and the standard for most retinol products), it is best to use this product for a few months before seeing a real difference in the skin. Prior to starting this cream, I was using a milder retinol so I think this may be why I did not experience too much redness/peeling/irritation like some other reviewers have mentioned. Overall, this seems like a good product. Ideally, I think it would probably be helpful to get periodic microdermabrasions to combat the dryness/peeling that this product can cause. That could be a winning combo!
