Thick, dry consistency
I've used Glytone Rejuvenating Lotion for about 15years. I thought I'd change things up a bit by trying the Rejuvenating Cream 10. It's consistency is too dry and thick which makes it hard to spread on the skin. I feel as though each time I put it on, I do damage to my face by having to rub so hard to spread it around.

This is some potent stuff!
I bought this in hopes of getting rid of (or at least minimizing) sunspots - I have lots of freckles on my cheeks and upper lip. Because I have sensitive skin and I use retinol, my skin is extra sensitive. I got this about 3 weeks ago, but still can't use it everyday. I probably use it a few times a week depending on whether I feel my skin can handle it. It still causes peeling, redness, and irritation, but exfoliates like no other. In fact, the exfoliation is so great that it caused some small scabbing in different parts of my face. After a few weeks of use, my sunspots are definitely lighter - they're peeled away. I'm hoping to go up to 15 then eventually to 20 for better results. I don't necessarily care for the scent. A little goes a long way. Once applied I wait a while (40-50 minutes) before putting on other products because otherwise it rolls off the skin. Took away one star for this reason. It stings and the stinging lasts for about 20 minutes after application.

Good moisturizer, work for my acne-prone skin
The glycolic acid in this product does sting a little, but this diminishes quickly. I have found that glycolic acid works really well for my skin-type, keeping it more clear than OTC salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. My skin feels really smooth when I use this product. Some peeling occurs once in a while, but it's hardly noticeable and doesn't happen all of the time.

This is a nice facial cream which isn't at all greasy or slick-- it absorbs well into the skin. I use it morning and night and it's made a world of difference for my complexion. I'm always getting compliments on my skin, and I'll be 50 in a few months. A little goes a long way, so it's a terrific value as well. I've just moved on to the Step 2, but this will always be my go-to facial cream. It's my secret weapon!
