Glytone Exfoliating Body Lotion (formerly Glytone Body Lotion) is a smoothing moisturizer with 17.5% glycolic acid to even the skin's texture and promote a radiant tone. It reduces the appearance of uneven skin tone with each application, leading to a healthier appearance. Plus, vitamin E conditions and offers antioxidant protection to shield the skin against environmental aggressors.
Use after Glytone Exfoliating Body Wash. Gently massage onto arms, legs and any other parts of the body that require special attention such as dehydration. For optimal results, use after showering or bathing. Use as often as desired or advised.

Wow this really works!
This lotion does miracles for keratosis pilaris. I've tried many topicals over the years but nothing works better than this lotion. Gets rid of bumpy feel on my skin and leaves my skin super soft and moisturized. This is now one of my must-haves.

Too sticky
I did not like this at all. Actually I would love to return but I already used it. It is too skicky and not exfoliating at all. It does not spread in the skin, super hard to absorb and too thick. No scent, which for me is a neutral aspect.

Pretty Good
This product works really well. The next day I felt a difference in the texture of my skin. The only issue is the thick feeling the lotion has because of the amount of petrolatum thats in it. I am not a fan of petrolatum and the thick film it leaves on your skin.

Great body lotion
I started used this body lotion,10 years ago when my dermatologist highly recommended it for bumps on the back of my arms, mini break sweat bumps I get on my chest and bumpy texture on my legs. When I moved across the country, I hadn't used it in a while. When my skin started to get bad again, I remembered using several products by Glytone and remembered how much this body lotion works well for my issues. Happy to find Glytone is sold on Dermstore! Will definitely not stop using this as part of my skincare routine!

Soft skin!
I have noticed that anti aging products are really working on my face but the skin on my body is beginning to show my age. This lotion makes my skin extremely soft which keeps my skin smoother because the harder upper layer that gets wrinkles is softened. It has never irritated my skin. I use it every other day. I find it to be very moisturizing on it's own and I don't layer another moisturizer over it. Glycolic acid is my favorite anti aging ingredient. It works best for my skin. My dermotologist sells Glytone products. Much easier to order glytone products online though! I am about to order my second bottle. I didn't expect my skin to become this smooth and soft before finishing the first bottle.

Works Wonders on Keratosis Pilaris
I'm 26 and have used this every day for a week and already my keratosis pilaris on my upper arms is almost completely gone! The discoloration from the bumps will take longer but the texture is already almost completely smooth!

Nice & Effective/Non-Irritating to My Sensitive Skin
This lotion is rich. I have sensitive skin. I use this lotion to slough off dead skin cells, mostly around my feet, knee caps, and elbows. This lotion does the job nicely with no irritation.

MAY NOT BE FOR EVERYONE
I ordered this lotion as part of the KP3 kit. I wrote a separate review of the body wash under that category. I like this lotion and feel it is effective, however, it has a few drawbacks for me. It is very thick. It's best applied when your skin is damp from a shower. If not, you will use 3 x's the amount in applying it. Another reviewer suggested mixing it with your current body lotion but I have not tried that. The scent of the lotion is what I would describe as "neutral". It has a texture that reminds me of if you have ever had a paraffin treatment. I love how it feels on my hands but am reluctant to use it frequently as a whole body lotion because of the stickiness left behind. I'm concerned about sitting on my furniture when at home to transfer this type of lotion. I'm also reluctant to put on good clothing after applying due to transfer of the lotion on my clothes. It is not readily absorbed and maintains this "coating" for some time. I suppose if you are a "apply lotion before bed" person that would be o.k. It does work and is exfoliating but somehow doesn't fit into my lifestyle. I will keep trying to find times to use this that fit into my schedule and also to evaluate if there is any transfer of the lotion to clothing or furniture.

Effective yet gentle
I don't actually have KP, but I have dry skin and my skin has always seemed to be poor at cell turnover. This lotion is like magic for keeping rough, dry skin under control. A little goes a long way, especially over damp skin, and it is surprisingly moisturizing as well (although I wear at least a couple other moisturizers over it.) As high as the acid value is, and as effective as it is for keeping dead skin away, it seems gentle; I have never had any irritation or any adverse reaction to it. I have used a number of other Glytone products as well (including facial creams) and have been really impressed with them all. I have never detected any scent with any of the products so that is a bonus. I will say that I have not noticed any improvement in skin discoloration-I have loads of sun spots and freckles and it hasn't seemed to affect that, although my understanding is that glycolic acid is recommended as part of the package for treating uneven skin tone. Ah, well.
