Gentle, effective, and nice scent
I use this one to two times per week for brightening the general appearance of the skin, and for exfoliation properties. It's really gentle, and has a very light, pleasant scent. I haven't noticed changes to dark spots necessarily, but have not been looking for that. I tried this as an option after really liking the glytone renewal moisturizer, and I think I like this product as much. My dermatologist suggested using a glycolic product once a week on a day that I'm not using retinol, for overal brightening and exfoliation. I had tried a different brand before switching to Glytone, which had no discernible effect. I've been really happy with the Glytone products, and I think for the quality and effectiveness it's a decent price.

I purchased Glytone’s serum for two reasons: I love their Brightening Solution, and I wanted to compare it to Sunday Riley Good Genes. It’s effectively the same cost per ounce and I personally find it absorbs just a little better. I do wish the packaging was glass instead of plastic.

30% less product- never sold completely FILLED- 2 week supply for $74
I've been purchasing this product for over 3 years now, and my last 2 purchases from Dermstore have been sold with only 70% entirety of the product. Meaning about a good 30% is missing from the bottle. It's VERY noticeable as the bottle is clear, so when you lift it up you see completely through the other end and it's not just a little that is missing it's over a quarter of the entirety of the product. This product is NOT an inexpensive product for either Glytone or Dermstore to be doing this, however, It's not worth the money now as it requires for it to be worn day/night which will only last you about 2 weeks at that rate. I'd look for a new brightening serum as it's disappointing what they've done.

I'm on my second bottle and love this. I bought it because the ingredients seemed safe for pregnancy, and I was looking for something to use while I discontinued using Tretinoin. I did notice a lightening of sunspots and a more even, less blotchy skin tone. Since using this I am comfortable going out with just a tinted sunscreen, rather than a cc type cream. I am loving the azelaic acid in this! And the texture is light and perfect for under makeup. Only negative is that is has an added fragrance, but it's mild.
