I have been using Tretinoin for about 6 months and honestly have seen minimal results - it just made me break out more and left me with a ton of dark spots! I've heard that can happen with really sensitive skin so I bought this a few weeks ago to try instead. To preface this - I have moderate hormonal acne as a result of stopping birth control and spirolactone at the same time about six months ago. My derm suggested this a while ago and I never bought it because it was so expensive. I finally did and stopped using the tret and honestly I am so mad I did not buy this sooner! I have had minimal breakouts since I started using this (not even purging) except for one small pimple when I was on my period. It has also cleared alot of the dark spots and melasma I get from the sun over the summer. If you have sensitive hormonal acne skin this is for you! I also immediately started using it morning and night and had zero irritation. For reference I use the La Roche Posay purifying cleanser, a hydrating toner (sometimes), the glytone serum and then the CeraVe rich texture cream.

Best product out there for lightening your face
I have used every great product got lightning but this product along with the Brightening solution works really well together. I purchased in early May and it lighten my face 50% from old sun damage. I use twice a day, have recommended to friends etc. I get peels in the cooler months and I have to say this will work nice along side of those. Perfect for the summer along with hats etc. I have purchased it 3 more times to have it always on hand. My face has really lightened but it is a daily battle as I live in Las Vegas.

Read about this when searching for pregnancy-safe products since I cannot use my prescription retinol while pregnant or breast feeding.
