Glytone Acne Clearing Cleanser is a potent yet gentle cleanser containing 2% salicylic acid and glycolic acid to cleanse and exfoliate the skin. Formulated to deeply penetrate your pores, it digs deep to eliminate acne-causing bacteria and impurities. With regular use it heals and prevents acne breakouts, leading to a clearer and brighter complexion.
Apply by adding water and work up lather. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily if needed or as directed by your physician. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.

Best for breakouts
I've been using glytone products for years now and it's the only cleanser and toner that helps with my occasional breakouts. I usually use once a day every other day because it can be drying unless my skin is feeling extra oily. I've tried everything out there, and this works!

It actually works
I am 42 years old and have struggled with hormonal acne for years. I researched and researched and finally decided to give the Glytone acne system (Acne Clearing Cleanser, Toner, BP lotion) a try. I used it for a couple of weeks and my skin became dry and started peeling, plus I felt like I was breaking out more. I promised myself I would stick with it for at least a month and it took that long before I saw improvement. I thought the real test would come one week before my period (that's usually when I start getting breakouts around my chin). I couldn't believe I actually made it through with no breakouts!! If a random pimple does come up, it clears up quickly. I honestly did not have high hopes for this systems and I was so happy to be proven wrong. I would definitely recommend this to other people and I plan on reordering. I also must say that it is a great value because you only need a dime size amount to wash your face so it lasts a long time.

Great Product
I am a 69 Y/O male who has very oily facial skin and have been using this product now for about 5 or 6 years. I use it with my daily shower and it has left my skin much less oily. I have recommended this to many of my friends especially those with teens who complain about breaking out. I recommend this product. The service from Dermstore is always very good. The product gets here quickly and in great condition. Update: 2017 - as usual Dermstore makes shopping easy and this product is still as effective as ever.

Not As Effective As I Had Hoped
I bought this product for my son who has developed mild acne. While I feel it is good for sensitive skin, it really didn't do anything to help clear up his acne. We started out using the product once a day for a week and then moved to twice a day after that. In fact, I feel like it actually made him break out even more. I have used a few Glytone prducts in the past (KP Kit) and have felt that they are very high quality and realativly effective, except for this one.

Best way to help keep your skin clear.
When I first started using it, I used it the recommended twice a day, but it dried out my skin. I started using it only in the morning and my skin was okay after that. When I finished my first bottle, I had to stop because where I used to get it, they did not carry it anymore. During that time I started to break out again, but once i started using it, my skin started clearing up again.
