not very potent
been using a month so really have yet to see results in that short of time but i do feel it would be best for first timers cause it is not very potent . No burn or irritation either, hopefully i see results

Just Okay
This serum does an okay job of exfoliating/keeping pores clear and clean. Not as strong as others I've used. My main issue with it is the smell. I don't mind the grape soda scent at first, but once it sits on your skin for a moment it gets almost fume-y. My eyes water from it, even though it goes nowhere near my eyes. There are so many acid serums out there, I just don't think this is a must-have. Especially for the price point.

Have been using this for years since I was introduced to the product line at a great facial spa I had a monthly membership at. I used this once or twice a week rotating with other serums since it has retinol at night. I always use sunscreen in the morning. This brand also has oil-free sunscreen which I really like.

I am on my second sample of this serum and I am thinking about buying a full bottle. This serum goes great on my skin, it is light and not sticky. You just have to wear a sunscreen afterwards. I highly recommend this for anyone who is trying to recover from old acne scars.

Changed my skin
Recived in a beautyfix box a sample that is half the size of the full size one. I love that it has Glycolic, Salicylic acid and retinol in it. It does have a strong smell, but the smell dissipates quickly. I find that on application it tingles on my skin quite a bit, which I do not mind. I wake up with glowing skin the nights I use the renew serum. It also really helps at that time of the month when I am experiencing hormonal breakouts along my jaw line. I actually forgot about it for a while, and am having a really bad cystic break out for the last 3 weeks, so I'm happy I found these in my supply box. The texture is a gel and it absorbs really quickly into my skin, but I still wait 30min before applying my night cream. It's also imperative to use a sunscreen with this to prevent pigmentation from the sun damage.
