Eminence Organics' Bright Skin Licorice Root Exfoliating Peel is a results-oriented peel solution that reduces the look of uneven pigmentation. Lactic and mandelic acids gently exfoliate dead skin cells, while licorice root and Eminence's Natural Hydroquinone Alternative from African potato and tara tree brighten the appearance of dark spots and hyperpigmentation. Added bonus? All the exfoliation promotes cell regeneration. Plus, it comes complete with 35 natural cotton rounds.
Vegan, gluten- and nut-free.
Dispense one to two pumps of the solution on one of the dual-textured cotton round pads provided. Apply in circular motions covering the face and neck, avoiding the eye area and leave on.
Use up to three times per week as required.

Will work well for some, but not for me
I will start by saying I'm a huge fan of the Eminence line and use many of their products in my daily skin regimen. I bought this peel after getting a facial last weekend, as I have a lot of hyper-pigmentation from acne scars and my esthetician thought this would help. Like another reviewer, I imagine there is something I'm allergic to in this, as my glowy skin suddenly turned rough and many red bumps appeared overnight. My skin feels like sandpaper now, and I'm bummed to have lost the glow and smooth skin from my facial! Not sure if this will subside with use, but I plan to discontinue as I'm not willing to run the risk of it getting worse. My advice is to just be sure that you are not sensitive to any of the ingredients before using this, especially given the price tag!

Love after first week
I have started to see a difference in the overall tone of my skin after using this exfoliator and brightener within the first week. I have been using it every other morning. My skin is tolerant of AHAs and I did notice that it helped calm a few hormonal pimples within the first two days of using the pads. Overall my face looks cleaner and brighter without any make up on...Love the packaging and the unique pump - definitely makes it way easier to use the perfect amount and not over do it/run out of product faster than expected.

Beware! Can cause extreme reaction
do NOT use if you think you may have sensitivities to AHA's. I have extremely sensitive skin and my esthetcian thought this may be okay for me to use once a week. Unfortunately, i'm currently experiencing a terrible red, itchy rash all over my face. Will never ever use again!

So far a good face peel and brightener.
This product is easy to use after you have cleansed. Simply use one of the organic cotton rounds provided with the product and pump twice on the dispenser. I found the dispenser to be efficient and controls product waste. I've noticed that my skin is a little brighter and softer. It is too soon to tell if the product will be effective at diminishing some of the brown spots on my face. I have only been using the product for a couple of weeks now. I have sensitive, Rosacea skin and have had a little irritation and therefore use every other day.
