Eminence Organic Skincare's Sun Defense Minerals provide a weightless veil of water-resistant SPF 30 sun protection. The finely milled mineral powder works two-fold to shield your complexion from UV rays and simultaneously absorb excess oil for a smooth, matte finish. Vitamins A and E prevent premature aging and free radical damage.

For initial application, pump brush three times to release the minerals and tap brush once or twice to evenly distribute the minerals. Once set-up, there is no need to pump the brush again as doing so will clog the brush. Sweep the brush with gentle semi-circular strokes over skin and apply a thin layer of minerals, continue for more opaque coverage. For best results, apply after your moisturizer has completely absorbed into the skin.

Best light-coverage SPF powder on the market
I'm surprised by the negative reviews, as I really like this stuff. I sweep it on for no-makeup days when I want a bit of pore filling and redness reducing action. It looks completely invisible when set with a hydrosol, breathes well and provides surprisingly good SPF coverage. I wore it deep sea fishing for 8+ hours on a very sunny day and had zero sunburn despite burn-prone skin. It's my go-to product for summer. The packaging isn't the best, but it's much better than similar products and I haven't had the issues folks are describing, with bristles falling out, etc. My only criticism is the scent. I've tried the honey apple and the peach formulas (#1 and #3, I believe), both smell strongly like overripe/rotting fruit. It's off-putting, but luckily the smell dissipates quickly. Would recommend the translucent formula, as it is practically scent-free.

Love this product!
I have been using this for years and I love it! It is easy to use and provides good coverage. I prefer the translucent powder as it blends easily and is not too powdery. If you are planning at day at the beach or pool, I would definitely recommend using a liquid sunscreen under this one, but otherwise, it is great for every day use.

poor coverage/shedding brush
I used to use this in the past and liked it but this time the brush sheds and sticks to my face and neck. Coverage isnt so great. I can see my melasma through it, so I am not sure of the sun protection.

Too heavy and dry.
Did not like the product. It makes me look like I have a heavy make up on, and not only that, it makes the skin very dry after use. It has been sitting on my desk unused for months.

Wrong color description
I really like this physical sunscreen, it's lightweight and I have no issues with the brush bristles. I especially like that there is no silicone in it. But the color description for Honey Apple is wrong. It is for light complexions with warm undertones, not pink undertones as described here. I wish it was formulated in a 50 SPF and I wish there was a color in between Honey Apple and Cherries and Berries.

Smells good, looks great, but not a fan of the dispenser
I love the way this powder makes me skin look. Its light but provides good coverage and smells delicious! However, I just feel like dispensers like this are such a waste. I can't tell how much product I have on the brush.

Love powder, HATE dispenser
I have been using mineral powders for about 15 years and this is by far the best. It provides natural coverage that stays put, even when I'm oily or sweaty.

Definitely a winner!
Every time I pull this out of my purse I get comments about how cool this is. I love using this at any time of year for a quick SPF touch up, or even if I need to remove shine, I can use a quick swipe and I'm good to go. I also love using this on my 1 year old, she HATES putting on thick sunscreen and the brush is so much easier to use. (She thinks it's fun!)

Great Mineral Powder
This product works very well with my sensitive and oily skin. I use it as a foundation. I've used other higher-end mineral powders which have left my face feeling dry and/or very shiny after about 4 hours. This one doesn't. This product also settles less into my fine lines than other similar products. However, the product packaging is terrible. The reality of the button pump releasing the powder into brush doesn't work well. The brush is also quite coarse and doesn't distribute the powder evenly. I put the product in a different container and use a different mineral powder brush which works great for me.
