You Only Need a Pea-Sized Amount
I have acne-prone skin and use this moisturizer with the Probiotic Cleanser and they are a great pair. Two things I don't like about it, however: (1) it's hard to figure out how much you need at first - I would use way more than necessary based on my experience with other brands' moisturizers and it would leave a white, chalky residue on my face - NOT CUTE; and (2) the packaging - when will skincare companies learn how unsanitary it is to keep your products in a wide open jar? They do provide a spatula so you're not dipping your fingers in over and over, but that means you've got to store the spatula in a clean spot or clean it each time before using - what a pain! While I'm not a huge fan of some of Kate Somerville's products, her moisturizer packaging is amazing! Eminence should take note from her and do a push top package that distributes a small amount of product at a time. Drunk Elephant has done the same type of packaging as well with their moisturizers.

Not my favorite
I decided to try this as a potential replacement for a GM Collins cream that I currently use but is becoming hard to find. Initially, I thought it was great, but a few days into using it I noticed a lot of dry skin around my mouth-I think it may have been from the salicylic acid. I use a serum that already has that in it, so it's possible that the combination of the two was too much for my skin. As soon as I stopped using it, my skin wasn't dry anymore. It was also a little thick for my liking.

I can't say enough good things about this moisturizer. This was my first purchase of the Eminence brand, along with the Probiotic cleanser and strawberry rhubarb serum. The combo works in harmony. My skin is moisturized, no breakouts and my pores are smaller. I love the clean sensation of my skin after applying this moisturizer. It's worth every penny and a little goes a long way! I only wish the moisturizer was in a pump bottle so that it isn't exposed to the air when I use it.
