Mix a small amount of product with water in hands, apply and massage gently with fingertips in a circular motion covering the face and neck areas. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Do not use on broken or abraded skin.

I’ve used this for years and always come back to it! Gentle enough to use on your whole body. I use it to exfoliate my face but also my sensitive underarms and legs before shaving, and even on my bikini area (I’m very prone to ingrowns and this is a great gentle exfoliator to use between waxes)

This bad boy gets the job done in one use. It walks the line between whipping my texture into shape immediately but okay to use a few times a week. I like to use it after a sweaty day and use a hot mask afterwards to preemptively hit anything brewing beneath the surface.

Nice manual exfoliator
I always keep a manual exfoliating cleanser in the shower for use 2-3 times a week (my skin’s too sensitive for daily use). Swapped my trusted Eminence Red Currant Cleanser for this charcoal formula to give it a try, and I really like it. I don’t notice any unique benefits that I wasn’t already getting from the Red Currant cleanser - both are effective manual cleansers that leave skin feeling soft and smooth, and both are intended to help manage oil (though I assume the charcoal formula is a bit more heavy duty). The main difference to me comes down to the scent, and I’m happy to smell this earthy minty smell for the next few months. The pump is a bit odd, it dispenses such a small amount of product per pump but maybe that’s intentional - better than the opposite problem, anyway. Ultimately, it’s not a “wow” product for me that I’ll be rushing to restock, but that’s probably because it’s not my first manual exfoliating cleanser from this line. They’re all so good and seem pretty comparable to one another, so I’m happy to have another option to add to the rotation.
