I Always Return to This Product
First, a little context on my skin conditions I am 33, I have mild Rosacea/Adult Acne, and chronic dry skin that will flare with eczema unless given lots of moisture. Apricot Calendula Nourishing Cream has definitely helped me. The only reasons I have repeatedly left it for other daytime creams are more nuisance than substance. I have to add a layer of sunscreen on top of this cream before going outside. FYI, I recommend PCA Protecting Hydrator SPF 30 for those who share my skin conditions, which layers very nicely. You also get less product in the Apricot Calendula jar, which is made of glass, than in other Eminence jars, which are made of plastic. If you can reconcile yourself to these issues, and address your underlying skin issues appropriately before setting your hopes on a single product, this is a solid moisturizer for those with sensitive skin. The scent of this cream is not overpowering as with many Eminence facial creams, a boon for those of us with asthma and allergies. I like the scent. The texture is very creamy, but not dense. It spreads easily with a small amount of product and moisturizes very well without leaving my face greasy/shiny. Mineral makeup, such as Jane Iredale, applies very nicely on top after just a minute or two. Before applying the cream I use an appropriate cleanser, toner, and corrective serum for my skin type, as indicated by my dermatologist. Following this routine, my skin has not been tight or dry, my breakouts have been far less vicious when they do occur, and my dermatologist is very pleased. I use it exclusively as a daytime cream, except in the summer months when it is also heavy enough to double as a nighttime cream. Apricot Calendula Cream has remained in my drawer for the past 6 months nonstop and for years, off-and-on. It will stay there for the foreseeable future. Good luck everyone!

Favorite Moisturizer
This is hands down the best moisturizer I have ever used. It keeps my skin hydrated all day/night. A tiny pea size amount, warmed by massaging in between your finger tips, goes a long way and covers my face, neck and decolletage. I use it over the same amount of Bamboo Firming Fluid. This was recommended by my aesthetician. The box is large for the size of the product and that seems a bit wasteful.

it broke me out but...
I bought this cream to help the dryness and redness i have in my cheeks, my face is combination (oily nose and slightly oily forehead and dry everywhere else)however this cream gave me around 5 acne cysts in the very first night. I decided to use it for a couple of night because it was very moisturizing, my cheeks were not peeling anymore but unfortunately had to stop using it because i got more acne the consecutive nights. the reason i gave it 3 stars is because i think this cream might be excellent for very dry skin types and also because dermstore customer service was very excellent, i didn't have a problem with the return process.
