EltaMD's UV Sheer Broad-Spectrum SPF 50+ provides powerful protection against UVA and UVB rays. Water and sweat-resistant, this advanced formula absorbs quickly into the skin hydrating and calming heated and red skin without leaving the face shiny or with a white cast. When applied, a sheen-like look appears then immediately dries down to a matte finish helping to even skin tone. Antioxidant protection combats skin-aging free radicals associated with ultraviolet, infrared radiation while offering high-energy visible (HEV) light protection.

Tip: UV Sheer does not require a special cleanser and can be easily removed by regular facial wash.
Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying and at least every 2 hours. For use on children under 6 months, ask a physician.

Sweatproof on my face
I use EltaMD UV Clear SPF 46 daily, but I wanted to try something else for when I go fast walking. Like the UV Clear, I love the way this applies to my skin. There's no oiliness, dryness, or white cast left behind. My skin can be oilier on my nose and drier everywhere else, mostly from tretinoin use, and it applied the same and felt the same all over my face. I've used it a few times now, including our 99 degree day earlier this week when I walked 4 miles. It did not run into my eyes or feel sticky or tacky. It's another winner from EltaMD!

UV Sheer broad spectrum spf 50, not as good as UV Daily spf 40
I've used Elta MD for over a decade and loved it. I do not mind spending the extra dollar's on an investment for my skin, I take very good care of my skin. However, I needed a stronger SPF as I'm getting older and my skin is not what it used to be. I decided to try the UV Sheer Broad Spectrum SPF 50 + and I have to say I'm quite disappointed in this one. It's so watery, runny and thin, not at all creamy or smooth like the other Elta MD products I've used. I feel like the small 1.7 oz is almost finished within a month of use, as apposed to my UV Daily broad spectrum spf 40, which I love because of the smooth creamy texture which lasts me about 3 months and is the same size 1.7 oz. It's so weird and its a shame ill have to try and find something else with spf 50 but has a creamy texture. I wish I had known before I signed up for auto ship for this one which I was informed that a second tube was shipped today 😤

Works, but not my favorite
I've used the EltaMD UV Daily sunscreen in the past and loved it. I bought this one because I wanted one that was water resistant for summer/beach. It works well for sun protection, but it has a SUPER shiny finish that isn't my favorite.
