EltaMD's UV Sheer Broad-Spectrum SPF 50+ provides powerful protection against UVA and UVB rays. Water and sweat-resistant, this advanced formula absorbs quickly into the skin hydrating and calming heated and red skin without leaving the face shiny or with a white cast. When applied, a sheen-like look appears then immediately dries down to a matte finish helping to even skin tone. Antioxidant protection combats skin-aging free radicals associated with ultraviolet, infrared radiation while offering high-energy visible (HEV) light protection.

- Zinc Oxide: natural mineral compound that works as a sunscreen agent by reflecting and scattering UVA and UVB rays
- Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid): humectant that attracts and retains moisture, improving skin feel and restores suppleness
- Squalane: contains plant-derived squalane which restores skin's natural moisture and suppleness

Tip: UV Sheer does not require a special cleanser and can be easily removed by regular facial wash.
Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying and at least every 2 hours. For use on children under 6 months, ask a physician.

Like, don't love
I bought this because I was looking for a water/sweat resistent sunscreen that can replace by EltaMD UV Clear on exercise days. I really want to love this but it feels a little liquid-y compared to EltaMD UV Clear... I still will use it but wish there was something that feels more like the traditional one I use.

EltaMD is my new favorite SPF brand. I use the Clear product but wanted something with slightly higher SPF that was water resistant for pool, beach and days I might sweat more. This product rocks -- it does not pill, make my skin look greasy or break out, and there is no noticeable white cast. Easy to reapply as well and better than another brand I tried that was 2x the price.

I use this on my body for any outdoor event from a day at the beach to hiking. Rubs in easily and gives great sun protection. I buy it on repeat and the whole family uses it. I have not found a better mineral sunscreen.

Probably Best for Oily Skin
I had bought this for my husband, but he didn't end up liking it because it did still have a little bit of a white cast. For me, this was too drying to use on the face since I have very dry skin. I didn't mind the level of white cast, but it was just too drying for me. The formula felt nice to rub into the skin, not too thick. I ended up using it up on my arms and chest and it worked well for those areas. I think it would work better on the face for those who are oily or maybe have combination skin.
