UV Sheer has a lightweight, hydrating formula that feels silky to the touch and light and airy on the skin. It goes on smooth absorbing quickly into skin and helps even out skin tone.
This facial sunscreen offers up to 80 minutes of sweat and water-resistance making it the ideal choice for an active lifestyle, hot and humid weather and for anyone looking for a lightweight and hydrating sunscreen to live freely under the sun.
UV Sheer is formulated to be compatible on all skin tones without leaving a white cast.
Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure
Reapply:
- after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating
- immediately after towel drying
- at least every 2 hours
Sun Protection Measures. Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a broad-spectrum SPF of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including:
- limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- wear long-sleeve shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses

Haven't Found a Better Sunscreen!
When I told my dermatologist that I used EltaMD SPF 50 (I didn't recite the full name), she said "I'm glad you're using a good sunscreen". I haven't found a better one in all my years of searching. I don't care for the tinted varieties - but this one is great.

Comfortable and Compatible
After recently discovering a potential skin cancer spot on my face, I knew I had to really make the effort to wear a daily sunscreen. I received the EltaMD UV Sheer Broad-Spectrum SPF 50+ as a sample in one of the Dermstore boxes I ordered and love it. In fact, I've just today ordered the 3 ounce tube so I can continue using it. In the morning, after applying my facial moisturizer and letting it soak in, I apply this sunscreen and let it 'rest' on my face for a few minutes. It applys and soaks in beautifully and after a few minutes I can apply my Patrick Ta foundation without any issues whatsoever. I feel safer knowing it has 50+ protection, that it protects against UVA and UVB burning rays, and that it doesn't "melt" off my face. After applying and letting it sit for a few minutes it soaks in and feels very comfortable on my skin. It doesn't affect my makeup application whatsoever except now I'm protected from the suns dangerous rays! I highly recommend giving it a try.

Goes on Sheer
This sunscreen actually does go on sheer. It did not leave a white cast or grayish cast to my skin. I was not a fan of the thin liquidy consistency of the product though.

Great sunscreen
Love that this sunscreen is light & water resistant. This replaced the Elta Md Sport for me. The lightness of UV Sheer helps it go on smoother. I more opt to reapply.

I have been a tennis instructor for 25+ years and retired due to skin cancer issues. I have mostly avoided the sun in recent years but after falling in love with pickleball I find myself back out in the elements. I started with super thick zinc sunscreens that left me with a white face mask looking not very appealing.
