High White Cast
Product feels fine but has a higher white cast then other EltaMD products and it doesn't disappear like others.

White film
I love the lightweight of this product but it does leave a white film. It fades after a few minutes and I guess it is expected with sunscreen but I just wish it was a little more transparent

Sunscreen
This brand does not disappoint! I had this recommended, wanted to stay all mineral, and wanted it transparent to be able to used under make up

Does the Job
This is a solid product. It does the job and doesn't break me out but I can't say I love the texture and it feels like regular sunsreen going on.

Great but not for sensitive skin
I used to use this daily, and I loved it. But after a while it started to sting my skin. Because of hormonal changes my skin started to get more and more sensitive. I’ve now got rosacea and very reactive skin, and this after a while started to bother it. If you’ve got reactive skin, stick with UV Clear by Elta.

Just terrible in every way
This may be the worst SPF I've ever tried... it's not even SPF 50+ or water resistant, yet it is the greasiest palest sunscreen I've used! A total miss for Elta, whose products I usually love. I also think it wipes off VERY easily, so I wouldn't trust it to truly protect my skin. I don't know if the people who give this a good review are using like... a pea sized amount or something, but if you're using 2mg/cm^2, there is no way you enjoy the cosmetic aspect of this sunscreen. It needs serious reformulation or just take it off the market because there is nothing redeeming or desirable about it. If you want an Elta sunscreen all mineral for sensitive skin just skip this and go to UV pure.

Feels nice, absorbs nice!
Tried this on my combination skin & it’s great. Moisturizing (not greasy!!) and helps even my skin tone. My one comment is on white cast: two solutions work for me… 1) rub in well if applying after washing (best for maximum protection). 2) if toning + serum before applying, it absorbs easier & no need to worry about the cast. Love EltaMD products!

Best Mineral Sunscreen So Far...
Though I will say that on my fair/dry skin there is still a white cast issue. Also can burn a tiny bit around my nose line sometimes. Having said that, it's the best I've found so far in the non-tinted mineral sunscreen hunt!

Great Sunscreen
I really like this sunscreen. It is non-greasy and does not leave a white cast. It helps with my hyperpigmentation and acne. I really enjoy it and recommend it.

Almost Perfect Sunscreen
I really enjoy this formula but I have a few caveats with it. I find it to be gentle and nonirritating on my dry, sensitive skin. The ginger root extract does tingle when first applied but the sensation subsides. It is a fragrance-free formula which I really like (you can kind of smell the ginger root extract at first but it is not noticeable). When reading the reviews of this SPF, I noticed many people mentioning the white cast. I have a lightly pigmented skin tone so I decided to purchase the tinted version in case I needed to mix the two together. It was quite an investment, but I am satisfied with the way the sunscreen looks mixed together. The regular version alone creates too much of a white cast on my complexion. But when used in conjunction with the Tinted version, I find it to look more natural (3 pumps tinted and 1 pump regular covers my face, neck, and hands). When first applied, it does look a little shiny but since my skin is so dry the shininess does not last long and I normally apply the EltaMD Face & Body lotion on top. I do not use foundation or other makeup so I am unsure of how it may react to other products. But in my experience, the texture and application is great and a little product goes a long way. I appreciate this SPF doesn't have Hyaluronic Acid and I think it is a great option for people with sensitivities.
