EltaMD UV Pure Broad-Spectrum SPF 47 shields the skin from UVA and UVB damage during sun exposure. The gentle formula is quickly absorbed by the skin without leaving an oily residue and is water resistant for up to 80 minutes. Safe for sensitive skin conditions, including rosacea.

Perfect for Rosacea
This sunscreen does have a white cast, on the stronger side tbh. But it is HG for me. If you have sensitive skin, this is an all physical sunscreen and its ingredient list is WAY smaller than EltaMD's other sunscreens. No hyaluronic acid, niacinimide, etc etc, it's just a sunscreen which is exactly what I need. If you struggle finding a sunscreen that doesn't irritate you or have rosacea like me, this is the best. The dimethicone lets my skin breathe, which is really important so my face doesn't heat up and flare my rosacea.

Very Good Daily Sunscreen
Lives up to the hype! To find a non-irritating facial sunscreen with NO fragrance or drying alcohols is much harder than you would expect. But Elta gets it right. I have never had a problem with any of the 3 varieties that I have used. This one is my favorite though!

This product does require more vigorous rubbing in, but I did not have a white cast as others mentioned. I use this on my face and chest everyday. Per ounce this is the best value for EltaMD face sunscreen (especially at 47 spf)

Good sunscreen
This is my go to sunscreen when I know I will be sweating a lot. It doesn’t migrate into my eyes at all. One down side is that it has a very noticeable white cast.

Feel 100% protected
I switched over to this sunscreen from Supergoop and I haven’t looked back. While I don’t love the “sunscreen feeling” and how long it takes to absorb, I have no complaints about the actual effectiveness of the sunscreen itself. I live in the city and walk everywhere, and I haven’t even come close to getting a sunburn. I feel 100% protected in this sunscreen and will continue to use. PS I have very sensitive, rosacea prone skin and I have zero issues with this sunscreen!

This brand is good but this lotion leaves a white cast and I’m white enough already. That said, you shouldn’t get burned. Good for areas like bare shoulders on vacation.
