Extremely visible, difficult to remove even with oil
I wanted to love this sunscreen, I really did. In theory, this formula is excellent, but it's just not practical at all. I applied the proper 1/4 teaspoon amount to my face and I have a very light skin tone, so that's where I'm coming from. First of all, the whitecast is insane. Absolutely insane. I smoothed this sunscreen out evenly across my face, diligently patted it in with my middle finger for at least 5 minutes, and then blowdried it for a bit ensure it was dry. Even after all that, I still looked like I was wearing a white face mask. To make matters worse, this sunscreen is difficult to remove even with oils. One application of pure safflower oil wasn't enough. I had to use Clinique TTDO and then a regular cleanser after that - that's 3 cleansers. Steer clear of this sunscreen unless you'll be alone the whole day and you're willing to spend 15 minutes removing it.

Quality Product
I tried EltaMD UV Pure after I had a reaction to the UV Sport formula. What I like about this formula is that it has 10% Zinc Oxide, combined with 5.5% titanium dioxide- this means that the formula protects against UVA II (tanning rays) and UVA I (long wave and potentially melanoma risk factor) and it's very water resistant. I live in the hot humid south of Texas, where you can walk outside at 8am and start sweating immediately. This formula stays on and doesn't cause a rosacea flair. Because of the titanium, it does go on very white- but if you apply evenly (to a clean shaven face, or to your body) and you blend a little bit it does dry clear. I can put this on in the morning and not worry about my protection throughout the day (for incidental sun exposure walking the dog or driving the car). If you are going to be in the sun for more than an hour I would certainly reapply. Give this one a try if you need a water resistant formula and have sensitive skin.

Stays on. Lots of Zinc Oxide. :)
Thgere is a good amount of ZnO2, but not so much that is horribly drying like some sunscreens with lots of ZnO2. I love that it doesn't break me out! For use in winter and when not working out, I like to add some moisturizer.

Works but extremely white
This product makes me look very white and I am pale skinned. I will try it with a little of my tinted sunblock mixed in. I don't like that it is so thick (no thicker than other beach water-resistant sunblocks I've tried) because I was hoping to find a thinner one for more frequent use. I will use this bottle but I am unsure if I would purchase it again because of the thick whiteness. I even got comments on the strange whiteness from people I don't know- who I did not care to get input from. Def good if swimming laps outside because no one sees you and it protects.

This sunscreen did not do as state, 'quickly absorbed by the skin". It left a very obvious white caste to the skin and was not moisturizing at all.
