EltaMD UV Pure Broad-Spectrum SPF 47 shields the skin from UVA and UVB damage during sun exposure. The gentle formula is quickly absorbed by the skin without leaving an oily residue and is water resistant for up to 80 minutes. Safe for sensitive skin conditions, including rosacea.

Works well
My dermatologist recommended this product to me several years ago and it works very well. Is it super white? Yes. Does it need to be blended in well? Yes. Is that sort of annoying? Yeah. But it works great and has kept my skin looking young and burn-free, and that's what matters.

Best Stuff since sliced bread
As a regular beach-goer, I was disheartened when I began getting terrible itchy rashes on my chest, thighs and inner arms about 5 years ago after a few days of using my regular chemical sunscreens. After it happened a few times, I realized there was a problem. I did some research on the internet and traced it down to the chemical sunscreens I had used for years. My dermatologist recommended Elta and I haven't had a rash since. I use some form of Elta almost everyday. This particular one has a very nice scent and ,since I do use it on my face and neck, I appreciate that aspect of the product. It will go on white at first, but, it quickly absorbs into my skin, I don't look like a sickly ghost & it is not oily. I love this product!!
