EltaMD UV Pure Broad-Spectrum SPF 47 shields the skin from UVA and UVB damage during sun exposure. The gentle formula is quickly absorbed by the skin without leaving an oily residue and is water resistant for up to 80 minutes. Safe for sensitive skin conditions, including rosacea.

Hands down favorite
Forget all the chemical sunscreens, all you need is zinc oxide and titanium dioxide in the product to protect you from the sun. Do not forget to reapply, it does not make me break out and I am VERY acne prone. It does leave a light white cast, but I am light skin so it does not really show and I do not wear makeup.

Most protecting body sunblock
This is the most protecting sunscreen i've ever used. It does leave a slight residue after showering however that gives me more confidence that it works and is waterproof. I like to use this on my back, chest and shoulders as those areas are the most sensitive/exposed and the back is the hardest to reach/re-apply. I made my sister who is pale use this sunscreen on a week trip to the beach in the winter and she didn't get burnt as she has in the past.

Description Does Not Match Ingredients
There are no Alpha Hydroxy Acids in this product like the Dermstore's "At A Glance" description claims. When I told this to a "Brianna" (a customer service rep), she didn't care and was combative and miserable. Terrible customer service.

Elta MD has the best Sunscreens
I rely on Ulta MD products for my sunscreen. I love UV Clear for my face, and this one for my body. It is thicker and whiter than a lot of of her other sunscreens, but I don't mind that for my body. Once it is rubbed in and absorbed, it no longer has a white cast and I really feel like it is protecting my skin. It doesn't dry my skin out or transfer onto handbag or car seats etc. Highly recommended.

A sunscreen that will not burn your eyes

Texture > White Cast
Even though it leaves a bit of a white cast (unavoidable with effective mineral sunscreens) the texture is heavenly. I actually really enjoy using this on my shoulders, neck, chest etc. I use a different sunscreen for my face.
