EltaMD UV Pure Broad-Spectrum SPF 47 shields the skin from UVA and UVB damage during sun exposure. The gentle formula is quickly absorbed by the skin without leaving an oily residue and is water resistant for up to 80 minutes. Safe for sensitive skin conditions, including rosacea.

Minimal cast and 0 irritation
Why is this sunscreen not as popular as the other EltaMD sunscreens!?! It had almost no white cast, is a great year round moisturizer, and is one of the cheaper eltamd sunscreens. I am Fitzpatrick type III with normal, sensitive, acne prone skin. I have many skin allergies and very sensitive eyes. This gave me 0 sensitivity. For the record, I needed to stop using the Vanicream sunscreen due to my skin allergies so the fact that this is free of all my allergens is amazing. Unlike Vanicream this is very spreadable and even though this has a lot of zinc oxide, it does not dry out my skin.

Great sunscreen! Used it recently on a trip to Mexico and it stayed on all day, even while sweating and having my purse strap rub over it. It rubs in easily without leaving a white cast and washes off in the shower with only a light scrub. I haven't tried it on my face but love that it's multipurpose for traveling! Definitely my new favorite body sunscreen!

My favorite but expensive
This is my favorite suntan lotion for my kids. It blends in well and doesn’t seem to dry out their skin. However, you can really go through a bottle very quickly. So it’s an expensive proposition to only use this sunscreen for the entire summer.

Good for face and body
This isn't the usual EltaMA sunscreen I used (I like UV Daily), but I have been using this while pregnant because it's pregnancy safe. It's a pretty classic mineral sunscreen and takes some work to rub in. It's thicker than the UV Daily but not so thick that it never absorbs. It works well for my face and body and you get a nice amount of product for the price.

Pretty thick
First time try this because I usually prefer using mineral over chemical. It's on the thick side. I think going to the beach is okay, but I would not use it daily. There is a little white case, but after rubbing it does go away.
