EltaMD UV Pure Broad-Spectrum SPF 47 shields the skin from UVA and UVB damage during sun exposure. The gentle formula is quickly absorbed by the skin without leaving an oily residue and is water resistant for up to 80 minutes. Safe for sensitive skin conditions, including rosacea.

Great sunscreen
I never used Elta MD sunscreens and I wanted to try one out. I bought this one because it does not contain niacinamide on it as my face hates it for some reason. I have very sensitive acne prone skin light to medium with yellow undertones skin for reference NC20-25. I have been using this sunscreen for about a week and I have been loving. The pros of this product are light weight, absolves super fast in your skin, it does not have any sensitizing ingredients, there is more product for less as I only used this on my face, neck, collarbone area, once it sets it does not transfer if you are sweating. The cons are it has a white cast more than La Roche Posay sunscreen that I was using previously and it will oxidize any foundation and concealer you will put over it. So, this sunscreen is great for those that do not wear make up daily, for outdoors, and dare I say even if you do sun jogging exposed to the sun. If you want to put this every day under make up I would not recommend. Cotz has a sunscreen primer better for that job.

Use everyday - best sunscreen
I have really sensitive skin and have had issues with wearing sunscreen my entire life, i even thought I was allergic to all sunscreen!. Then my roommate turned me on to Elta MD and I'm OBSESSED. It's lightweight and blends quickly into my skin, without feeling heavy or oily. The only thing is that with certain make up or skin products along with this sunscreen can cause pilling, but that hasn't stopped me from using it. I never go anywhere without it.

Great skin protection!
I have a lot of skin allergies. This is one of the only sunscreens I can use. My husband and I used this on a 7 day cruise and neither of us were sunburned. Leaves a slight white cast on my body but on my face I was able to rub it in enough that it did not leave a white cast.

Excellent Sunscreen For Outdoors
This is a wonderful sunscreen especially for being active outdoors. I needed a sunscreen that wouldn't just melt away or turn into an oily mess when I'm outdoors and sweating. My skin is sensitive and acne prone and thankfully there's been no problems or reactions to this product at all. I use this on my face, neck, chest and hands when I'm hiking, biking or at the beach and so far I've been very pleased with the performance of this mineral sunscreen. You do need to rub it in, but honestly it's just an extra minute, like most mineral sunscreens. The overall application and dry-down is excellent. It feels clean and moisturizing not at all sticky or tacky. There is a slight white cast, but it works very well with my fair/light complexion. When I reapply the product after 2 hrs the white cast is more noticeable but it's not ghostly. Very happy with this sunscreen.

This is honestly perfect. I am 39 with dry, sensitive skin, and rosacea. I have a good skincare routine that does wonders but go downhill quickly if I don't adhere to it. Chemical sunscreens are way to irritating to my face, so I only wear physical. This is THE. FIRST. physical sunscreen that doesn't break me out. I am 100% sold. There is a slight white cast, but I find that if it's rubbed in sufficiently the cast goes away. I've been wearing this for a month, have been to the beach on multiple occasions, and I have not gotten even a bit of a tan on my face. (And while this might be controversial, I don't reapply if I'm not in the water. Don't tell the skincare police.) This is an awesome product and I will repurchase again and again!

I have very fair skin and a family history of skin cancer so I cannot mess around when it comes to sun protection. During the warmer months, I use this on my chest/neck/arms/body and reapply as needed. It is a bit thick but if you rub it in, it blends well and does not leave a white cast. I have also used it on my face and it does not break me out. Most importantly, when I wear this I do not get sun burned!

Hands down favorite
Forget all the chemical sunscreens, all you need is zinc oxide and titanium dioxide in the product to protect you from the sun. Do not forget to reapply, it does not make me break out and I am VERY acne prone. It does leave a light white cast, but I am light skin so it does not really show and I do not wear makeup.

Most protecting body sunblock
This is the most protecting sunscreen i've ever used. It does leave a slight residue after showering however that gives me more confidence that it works and is waterproof. I like to use this on my back, chest and shoulders as those areas are the most sensitive/exposed and the back is the hardest to reach/re-apply. I made my sister who is pale use this sunscreen on a week trip to the beach in the winter and she didn't get burnt as she has in the past.
