Didn't work out
Unfortunately I had to return this because it was so difficult to wash off. I had to scrub my skin with a washcloth several times to remove the white tint and sticky feeling. If you're looking for highly waterproof this would work but after a walk or hike it's just too hard to remove. Love Dermstore's return policy!

Great for sensitive skin
Never burns or stings my extremely sensitive skin! Definitely leaves a whitecast, but worth it for the protection.

EltaMD Pure
I usually struggle with physical sunscreens, they're so chalky and thick. However, I was very happy with this product! I found it easy to work with, had no issue with it irritating my sensitive skin, and the minimal smell was a plus.

Like the sunscreen, hate the bottle
I'm in the habit of shaking my sunscreens before I open them because I hate when they separate. For some reason, every time I open this particular tube, it explodes, which drives me crazy. Otherwise, I like the product. It doesn't feel too thick and sticky, but it does take some smearing in for the white cast to blend into my skin. The other thing I've noticed is that I need to re-apply moisturizer occasionally before I re-apply the sunscreen throughout the day (yes, I re-apply roughly every 2 hours as recommended because I have a lot of windows in my house) because my skin dries out if I don't. I typically use UV Clear in the summer, but I'm going to see if I can stick to an all-physical sunscreen this summer to reduce irritation and chemical absorption.

A must for Melasma
I have been suffering from melasma going on a year and I finally was able to afford tri-Luma cream and with that cream you need to wear a good zinc and titanium sunscreen as other chemicals on sunscreen can worsen melasma. So far I have used it for one week and I like it. I am Hispanic olive medium skin tone and when I wear foundation I wear Armani Luminous silk foundation 6.5 . The sunscreen goes on white but it disappears after a few minutes. Highly recommend it. I have dry sensitive skin. Not acne prone,

Perfect texture
I have never used a high spf/water resistant sunscreen that is as nice feeling as this. It is not greasy at all, and smooth to the touch but somehow now drying (and my skin is normal/dry). Very good price for the product as well. It does have a slight white cast (as should be expected from a zinc oxide/titanium dioxide sunscreen), but looks perfect under a bit of tinted sunscreen.

NOT FOR TAN SKIN
I really wanted to like this product. I've been using the UV Clear SPF 46 and wanted to explore other (cheaper) options to address my oily acne-prone skin. It didn't leave an oily-residue, but it did leave a white cast. I would try to rub my face more than usual to get rid of the white-cast, but the rubbing caused more irritation to my skin. I decided to go back to using UV Clear SPF 46. I am still keeping this for solo sport/outdoor activities since it is very useful and I don't care about the white tint when I go outside. UV Sport is great for tan skin but it does leave an oily residue. So it's really up to you on whether you want to tolerate a white cast or an oily face. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I still will use EltaMD products because this sunscreen has worked the best for my acne (as long as I don't try to rub my face aggresively to get rid of the white-cast).

My heavy duty sunscreen
I trust this when I go hiking or go in the water because it stays on. Easily removes with Neutrogena makeup remover towelettes. A thin film doesn't leave a white cast on my olive tone skin. Good under make up too. Good price for the size. Great for sensitive skin, never had a problem. I always keep plenty around.

Reliable daily sunscreen
It's my third bottle. It does leave white cast for the first few minutes then it will almost disappear. I have acne prone skin and it doesn't break me out. It works well under the my makeup too. A comment below says it oxidize her foundation. I don't notice this at all. Last year I interchanged this with a couple bottles of LPR physical sunscreen. LPR is not as sticky but pricier and leaves more white cast on my warm undertone skin. Even I think it's good, but it's not perfect or my holy grail (still searching...). It's sticky/tacky and a bit oily but I guess this is what physical sunscreen is. When I run outside and when it mixes with my sweats, the white cast is more obvious.

High-protection for the body
This is an effective formula that offers a high concentration of zinc oxide and titanium. I actually prefer this to the comparable mineral formula from LRP. Safe for KP spots on skin, too.
