EltaMD UV Pure Broad-Spectrum SPF 47 shields the skin from UVA and UVB damage during sun exposure. The gentle formula is quickly absorbed by the skin without leaving an oily residue and is water resistant for up to 80 minutes. Safe for sensitive skin conditions, including rosacea.

I love this product!

My favorite sunscreen
I love the whole line of Elta MD sunscreens. This one is great because my skin is very sensitive' have a history of rosacea and I am very fair. It is not chalky and goes into the skin very easily. I use it when I swim laps outside and I need something that is water resistant. I also use it at the beach. It's pleasant enough to use every day because it isn't sticky

An amazing sunscreen
I developed a mild case of rosacea a few months ago, and was searching for a physical sunscreen that was effective, but not too heavy. This is a perfect match for me! It is not heavy or greasy, and my face does not get irritated, yet I am protected. Actually, this product arrived last week, and during a doctor's visit, it got misplaced, so I had to buy another Elta physical suncreen (Active), but it was too heavy for me. Thankfully, the doctor's office found my Pure sunscreen, and I have already ordered another one. It is also water resistant for 80 minutes.

Not only does this sunscreen leaves a terrible white cast, it also makes my skin extremely dry. I mean unless your skin is fair, not even bother trying.

Nice sunscreen
I use UV Clear on my face during the day, but I needed something to use on my face for swimming since UV Clear is not water resistant. I have been very happy with this sunscreen. It does leave a small white cast for a few minutes, but then it goes away. It is thicker than UV Clear and I would probably not use it under make-up. I also use this sunscreen on my hands before leaving the house since it is cheaper than UV Clear. Overall, I am happy with it when I use it for my intended purposes.

Perfect Non Chemical Option
I was so pleasantly surprised with how much I liked this sunscreen. I normally use the UV clear, but wanted a non chemical option. I was worried with only physical SPF ingredients that it would leave me looking white, but it goes on so smooth and leaves no white cast. It is a little thicker, but blends in so nicely on the skin. Works great!

I like the EltaMD UV Clear Sunscreen very much and use it regularly. I was looking for a body sunscreen. I think I would be happier with one of the other Elta products that is not water resistant. This product is too thick for my use. But I think this product would work well for use for frequent sport and water activities. I love the UV Clear product and will try other EltaMD products in the future.
