EltaMD UV Pure Broad-Spectrum SPF 47 shields the skin from UVA and UVB damage during sun exposure. The gentle formula is quickly absorbed by the skin without leaving an oily residue and is water resistant for up to 80 minutes. Safe for sensitive skin conditions, including rosacea.

Solid product for outdoor activities
I love EltaMD products because my experience with them is that they are clean and do not make me break out. In most ways, this sunscreen is the same, and also great value. I purchased it for outdoor activities where I require a water resistant sunscreen. I did use this on my face once, but my face lightly broke out for 2-3 days (it quickly went away) and I immediately stopped applying it to my face and only applied to the body. None of the other reviews noted this issue or clogging of pores (and in my mind, it clogs less than some tinted sunscreen), so I may test it again on the face in the future.

As I'm looking at the other reviews, I don't find that this sunscreen is hard to rub in and doesn't leave a white cast for me. Just don't put a ton on your face and you won't have that problem. I specifically bought this kind in early 2020 when I was pregnant since this is an approved pregnancy sunscreen and I will continue to use it. I have combo skin and am prone to breakouts & have never had an issue with this!

Great sunscreen but
Good, non greasy, does what I need it to do. However, it takes a while to rub into the skin and can leave a white cast. If you don't take the time to rub in until all absorbed it can be a little oily. Overall a good value for your money so long as you know it takes a little extra are to absorb it all the way!

Great product especially under make up
All Elta MD sunscreens are great. This one does leave a slight white caste on my tan/medium skin tone. But after about 10 minute the caste is minimal and it's great to wear under foundation. It's light weight and non-greasy too. Would recommend!

Good but only use a small amount
This is a great healthy and clean sunscreen however, do not use a lot because it will turn your skin white or when it starts to soak in you skin almost has a purple tint from the white.
