EltaMD UV Pure Broad-Spectrum SPF 47 shields the skin from UVA and UVB damage during sun exposure. The gentle formula is quickly absorbed by the skin without leaving an oily residue and is water resistant for up to 80 minutes. Safe for sensitive skin conditions, including rosacea.

As I'm looking at the other reviews, I don't find that this sunscreen is hard to rub in and doesn't leave a white cast for me. Just don't put a ton on your face and you won't have that problem. I specifically bought this kind in early 2020 when I was pregnant since this is an approved pregnancy sunscreen and I will continue to use it. I have combo skin and am prone to breakouts & have never had an issue with this!

Great sunscreen but
Good, non greasy, does what I need it to do. However, it takes a while to rub into the skin and can leave a white cast. If you don't take the time to rub in until all absorbed it can be a little oily. Overall a good value for your money so long as you know it takes a little extra are to absorb it all the way!

Great product especially under make up
All Elta MD sunscreens are great. This one does leave a slight white caste on my tan/medium skin tone. But after about 10 minute the caste is minimal and it's great to wear under foundation. It's light weight and non-greasy too. Would recommend!

Good but only use a small amount
This is a great healthy and clean sunscreen however, do not use a lot because it will turn your skin white or when it starts to soak in you skin almost has a purple tint from the white.

Stick with the SPF 46 and drugstore body SPF
Wanted to like this as an all-over SPF in my bag this summer but didn't. Not as cosmetically elegant as other Elta MD sunscreens I've tried. It pretty thick and the white cast is intense. I mostly used this on my body, but it wasn't easy to spread + had significant whitecast. Didn't use it on the face much due to the thickness and texture - definitely better options for daily face sunscreen. More affordable than other Elta MD SPFs for sure but no better than a drugstore sunscreen for the body.
