Wanted to love it, but my acne prone skin couldn't
I really wanted to love this product as I've used the EltaMD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF facial sunscreen with great results in the past. The consistency of this product is buttery smooth, making the application effortless. The tint is unimposing and ideal as well. No offending odor. All that to say that unfortunately, the composition of this physical sunscreen has been terrible to my skin. Within a week of consistent application, my skin is dry to the point of focal flaking (previously well balanced, even through the winter) and my cheeks are breaking out in acne as if I am a pubescent teenager rather than a woman well in her 30s. As this is the only change I've made to my skincare, I fear it is the culprit and will not be repurchasing. Bummer.

Not my favorite
I love EltaMD products. It's my favorite brand of sunscreens and I've tried them all but I didn't like this one in particular. I didn't like how it felt on my face, it felt greasy even though it is oil free. Remember that what didn't work for me doesn't mean it won't work for you. We all have different skins.

Took some time to warm up to, but I really enjoy it now!
At first, I had issues with pilling, but that was because I wasn't giving my moisturizer underneath enough time to dry before applying this sunscreen. After I realized my mistake, after giving 15-20 minutes for the moisturizer to dry, this sunscreen applies in a mousse-like texture. It's quite elegant and blurs most imperfections (what are pores? Ha!) and provides medium-high coverage. I can forgo my cushion foundation when I wear this sunscreen. I love how even-toned my skin looks with this sunscreen!

I've been using this sunscreen for years. I have extreme sensitive skin and this does not irritate my skin. I'm also pale so the tint of color helps butI have to mix it with a drop of darker foundation so that it isn't too chalky.
