Sheer Lip Balm
I liked this lip balm because it was sheer and silky. It was a little white going on, but it blended in. I really like the minty taste as well. It isn't a pure mineral lip balm and has chemical elements in it. I decided I would rather have a lip balm that was 100% mineral.

Was looking for a lip balm with spf and knew the Elta MD product would be great. It has a minty fresh smell! Only thing is that the product goes on white, which is to be expected because of the zinc content.

Like the SPF but leaves a weird cast on lips
Elta has been hit or miss for me. I jumped to buy this because i really want any lip product with SPF. This one is smooth and moisturizing, but leaves a silvery/white cast on my lips. If i rub my lips together for a while it disappears, but i'm not absolutely sure it's providing enough protection at that point.

Nice SPF balm with light mint taste
Very good SPF balm. Has a nice mint flavor. As mineral SPF expect your lips to be whitish. I have quite reactive skin, and this one doesn't irritate it at all. Also, tubing is quite easy in applying the balm. This product is definitely worth trying!

LOVE!
This is my new favorite! It is very creamy and much more moisturizing that I expected from a mineral SPF for lips. It stays on longer than any I've tried in this category also. It leaves little to no white cast on my medium skin tone, as long as it is rubbed in completely. Very easy to add color or gloss on top if you want. Would be appropriate for men as well.

I loved this lip balm. It has a minty smell/taste to it that is kind of refreshing. It does leave a faint white cast at first, but it eventually resolves (probably need to reapply at that point). Plus, the white cast almost seemed like more of a shimmer at first application - kind of expensive for the size, but i would buy it again during next eltamd sale.

Absolute necessity
We moved to Santa Fe and the arid sun drenched climate is fabulous, but it didn't take long to realize that sun protection is key. This lip balm keeps my lips moist and protected for extended periods outdoors and it doesn't have an annoying scent, nor texture. The tube application is also good due to the exposure to the heat...just be careful of changes in altitude...I did have one unfortunate explosion of product.

Nice but strange
Kind of a weird texture that slides around on my lips until I pat it down. It does leave a white cast so make sure to really pat it into your lips. I wear it over lipstick since mine don't have SPF.
