A Dermstore exclusive, EltaMD's UV Glow Tinted Broad-Spectrum SPF 36 delivers protection against UVA (aging) and UVB (burning) rays. This 100% physical sunscreen contains high-purity niacinamide that brightens skin and helps to improve and protect skin types prone to discoloration and breakouts associated with acne, hyperpigmentation and rosacea. It contains antioxidants that combat skin-aging free radicals from ultraviolet (UV) and infrared radiation (IR) and offers high-energy visible (HEV) light protection. UV Glow is formulated for all skin types and is dye-, fragrance-, gluten-, oil- paraben- and sensitivity-free, non-comedogenic and dermatologist tested.

So far, so good!
This really gives a nice finish. I was using matte sunscreen and I didn’t like the way it looked and I saw a dermatologist online recommend this particular sunscreen. So far no breakouts, it’s mineral sunscreen too and the “glow” effect is great!

I first used this product a couple of days during the summer when I was outside sweating. And I felt it was a bit too greasy. As the weather has cooled, I actually use this as my daily foundation. I would say it provides medium coverage, and then I use a concealer for certain areas. It dries down nicely. I apply it over vitamin c serum. It’s easy to apply make up over it. It’s moisturizing and has excellent ingredients so I don’t feel a moisturizer is needed underneath. The tint is perfect. No orange cast, it certainly does not appear white on the skin. Buttery texture blends easily and flawlessly. No transfer. I will definitely repurchase this product. I’ve tried many high end sunscreens and this is at the top of the list. Excellent.

Effective but too heavy for me
This feels heavy and doesn’t blend well under makeup. Works very well as sunscreen but I’ll go back to UV clear for everyday use.

I usually use the other SPF 44 Broad Spectrum, but this product gave me a brown spot after using it. It feels very thick and heavy on the face, and it had a funny smell. I was hoping I could return it. It does not suit my skin. If you will see I re-ordered another SPF and the toner by Elta MD, which works better. I hope I can return. Thank you.

Mucky and White casted
I received a sample of this UV glow with a product purchase, and after hearing so many rave reviews about EltaMD I was dumbfounded. This one in particular is horrible. It is chalky, heavy, and leave you super white casted. I put it on with my moisturizer in my morning routine and my make up just felt and looked weird all day. I was so aware there was something on my face. Hoping the other Elta sunscreens are better, because as of right now I don’t get the hype at all.

Not what I thought.
I wanted to try the tinted product after years of using the clear for my face. There were lots of very positive reviews for the tinted and comments that it was very lightweight. This product feels horrible on my face. Heavy, thick-feels like a children's heavy, oily sport sunscreen. And the SPF is only 36, which I didn't realize. I did think the actual tint was ok, not real obvious. I am going to try once more with the tinted, 46 SPF product and see if that is better. That one does have good reviews, so we'll see. There are a lot of options now so be sure you read carefully and are aware of just what you are ordering.
