EltaMD UV Facial Broad-Spectrum SPF 30 Plus (formerly EltaMD UV Facial SPF 30 Plus) protects the skin especially dry and sensitive skin after microdermabrasion, laser and peel treatments. The lightweight formula shields the skin from damaging UVA and UVB rays and also moisturizes for a smooth complexion. Vitamin E shields the skin from free-radical damage to prevent early signs of aging.

- Zinc Oxide: natural mineral compound that works as a sunscreen agent by reflecting and scattering UVA and UVB rays

a daily staple
I damaged my skin by too much sun exposure in my youth, now I wear spf every day, and this is my daily go-to. I have used several EltaMD sunblocks but this one is my favorite. It appears a little white when you first apply it but after a few minutes, it absorbs completely, and becomes invisible. It is moisturizing without clogging pores, no break-outs. I finish with a dusting of translucent powder to take away shine and I am good to go. It lasts all day, and completely protects me from the sun. Last weekend we did a five mile hike mid-day and I did not get burned at all. I have been using this for years. Sometimes I will give another product a try but always come back to this. Highly recommend.

Hydrating Sunscreen
I love this Elta sunscreen. It sinks in quickly and provides good moisture for my face. It also primes my face nicely for foundation makeup. Wish it came in a little higher spf. I will definitely repurchase.

My current go-to
I originally tried this out after having a reaction to the cult favorite UV Clear--I think my skin disagrees with the niacinimide in that formulation. Anyway, I was happy with the quality of EltaMD, but looking for something more moisturizing for my combination/dry skin and I found it in UV Facial. This is an incredibly moisturizing and rich formula that does not leave a white cast on my pale skin. It will leave an ever so slight shine on your face, which translates to a glow on my skin, so if you are oily or prefer a completely matte look then this product probably isn't for you. I find it wears lovely under my foundation--something that can be a challenge with sunscreens. I love this formula so much but had to knock a star off because of the use of chemical filters. If this sunscreen was purely physical it would be a 5/5 holy grail formulation. I keep testing out all-mineral sunscreens and always come back to this one. If you are on the drier side and don't mind a chemical sunscreen, try this out!

My Absolute Favorite Sunscreen
This produce is great for daily use. I apply it multiple times a day to my face and it feels like a moisturizer rather than a sunscreen. There is no greasy after feel. It hydrates my skin while protecting it. I like to layer all my products and this product goes on nicely as a final step. A little goes a long way so the tube lasts a while. EltaMD makes wonderful products at a fair price. I am a fan. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a daily facial sunscreen.

Worth the hype!
I’ve used many moisturizing creams with SPF over the years, but I always seem to come back to EltaMD. It absorbs quickly into my skin. I find it to be hydrating, but not greasy. It does a great job of protecting my skin from the sun. I find makeup goes on smoothly over it, I don’t really need a makeup primer when I use it.

My dermatologist recommended this line. I have used several of their facial products and this is my favorite. I tried their tinted sunscreen, but it was a little orangey on me. So I just mix a little of my foundation in this sunscreen and it looks perfect. I have sensitive skin and this does not break me out.
