EltaMD UV Facial Broad-Spectrum SPF 30 Plus (formerly EltaMD UV Facial SPF 30 Plus) protects the skin especially dry and sensitive skin after microdermabrasion, laser and peel treatments. The lightweight formula shields the skin from damaging UVA and UVB rays and also moisturizes for a smooth complexion. Vitamin E shields the skin from free-radical damage to prevent early signs of aging.

- Zinc Oxide: natural mineral compound that works as a sunscreen agent by reflecting and scattering UVA and UVB rays

favorite sunscreen
I have been using this sunscreen for years. I recently purchased the tube of UV Facial because the jar I normally buy was not available. This is nice because I can travel with this size on an airplane. Like most zinc based sunscreens this does initially start out white but if you give it a minute to sink in, it eventually becomes invisible. I found that the other elta md sunscreens were too drying for me. This is the perfect moisturizer and spf all in one. Once it is absorbed, I apply powder over it and I am good for the day. No touch-ups needed. It is perfect. Highly recommend.

Better than their cult favorite sunscreen
This was recommended as being great under makeup. I don’t wear much makeup, but still wanted something that went with my routine. I didn’t want anything with a crazy high SPF rating as I’m not in the sun usually (remote office). This to me is the perfect sunscreen. It glides on, doesn’t leave a white cast, and doesn’t affect my make up.

No Strong Smells!
I love this SPF. It goes on so smooth and literally dissolves into my skin. A huge plus for me is that there is no strong SPF fragrance! I hate when I smell like sunscreen all day, it really takes away from that clean feeling I get in my morning routine. Highly recommend!

Great Sunscreen!
I love this sunscreen. I had originally tried Elta MD's UV Clear but after using it for several months I noticed how dry it was making my skin. Winter was approaching so I opted to try this out for the colder, drier months. This has since become my year round sunscreen! Very emollient and works great under my foundation--no pilling at all. I have dry skin (with an oily t-zone in the summer months) that is acne prone and haven't had any breakouts or issues with this. I prefer a more dewy, moisturized look, so I do not mind the finish that this sunscreen gives. Those that are oilier may not be a fan, but my skin loves this stuff! Have repurchased at least 5 or 6 times. It's hard to report on any lasting white cast left with this as I am quite pale. Those that are tan may have a problem with this.
