EltaMD UV Facial Broad-Spectrum SPF 30 Plus (formerly EltaMD UV Facial SPF 30 Plus) protects the skin especially dry and sensitive skin after microdermabrasion, laser and peel treatments. The lightweight formula shields the skin from damaging UVA and UVB rays and also moisturizes for a smooth complexion. Vitamin E shields the skin from free-radical damage to prevent early signs of aging.

Nice and light. Great for spring/summer.
This is not a heavy, greasy product. It does not look all thick and white when I put it on. If I apply too sparingly it feels like I need a bit more moisture, so I either add more, or top off with something creamier. Maybe a little light for my 45 year old face in winter, but I will continue to use. It will be great on sticky summer days, because it is not sticky.

This non-greasy and non-scented moisturizer is just right for my husband and me. It is not too light or too thick for my combination skin and his normal skin. It works well under make-up. I have tried other spf moisturizers that "shed" off my skin while applying make-up, even when I would apply less...which defeats the purpose of using a spf product. We will definitely purchase this product again and again.

After skin cancer last year, the skin cancer surgeon and the reconstructive surgeon both recommended that I use Elta MD UV Facial SPF 30+. I've always used a sunscreen; however, they both explained Elta was a good choice because it contained zinc oxide. I started using it and have been very happy with the product. While the protection is my #1 concern, the product is light and moisturizing. It doesn't clog pores and doesn't leave me with a greasy feeling. I've been so happy with the product that I now use the Elta MD body lotion for body protection. Initially it was a challenge to buy Elta MD since both of my doctors are 40 miles away. I've ordered from Dermstore before and have been very happy with them. I was delighted to find out you carry Elta MD so now I have Elta delivered right to my door! Thanks, Dermstore! I just recommended Elta MD (and Dermstore) to my entire staff so they would have better skin protection.
