EltaMD UV Facial Broad-Spectrum SPF 30 Plus (formerly EltaMD UV Facial SPF 30 Plus) protects the skin especially dry and sensitive skin after microdermabrasion, laser and peel treatments. The lightweight formula shields the skin from damaging UVA and UVB rays and also moisturizes for a smooth complexion. Vitamin E shields the skin from free-radical damage to prevent early signs of aging.

- Zinc Oxide: natural mineral compound that works as a sunscreen agent by reflecting and scattering UVA and UVB rays
- Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid): retains moisture and improves skin feel by reducing flaking and restoring suppleness

My go to face cream
I have used this product for about two years and have found no other like it. It is a very good sunscreen and it moisturizes at the same time. I live in Arizona so I need all the sunscreen and moisture I can get. It penetrates and is not greasy but most important when I am in the sun it covers completely. It keeps my skin from getting too dry during the day so I don't reapply unless I know that I am going to be in the direct sun for awhile.

The best spf I have used.
I began using this product on recommendation from a dermatologist. I have sensitive, fair skin and have had 2 malanomas and so many basel cells I can't count them. My life literally depends on Sun Screen. I love this stuff. The sun damage I am currently dealing with is from my childhood in South America, where I had a lot of unprotected sun exposure. I have no reaction to this product and don't get a single freckle when i use it. (I'm in Texas, another hostile environment to the melanin challenged).

Best High Spf + moisture out there!
I have been using this product for several years, ever since my dermatologist recommended it for my sun allergy. It is the BEST! So cosmetically elegant -- it won't give you the pasty-white finish many mineral sunscreens give you, and yet highly effective. It works as a great primer under my makeup -- even powder-based makeups (so long as you let it absorb for a few minutes first). It also moisturizes my very dry skin all day.

This is a good quality lotion. It goes on relatively smooth, a tad greasy, but your skin will absorb it and won't run into your eyes as the day goes on like other sunscreens. **Update** I stopped using this sunscreen in favor for the oil-free EltaMD version. It's not as lightweight as this one, but I get fewer breakouts. Also I recommend using a moisturizer, as this or other zinc based sunscreens have a drying effect.
