EltaMD UV Facial Broad-Spectrum SPF 30 Plus (formerly EltaMD UV Facial SPF 30 Plus) protects the skin especially dry and sensitive skin after microdermabrasion, laser and peel treatments. The lightweight formula shields the skin from damaging UVA and UVB rays and also moisturizes for a smooth complexion. Vitamin E shields the skin from free-radical damage to prevent early signs of aging.

- Zinc Oxide: natural mineral compound that works as a sunscreen agent by reflecting and scattering UVA and UVB rays

Great for very sensitive skin!
I have very hyper sensitive skin with rosacea and have a hard time finding sunscreens that do not burn, sting or cause a rash. EltaMd is the first brand of sunscreens that I can actually use that do not cause problems on my skin. I have been using the UV facial spf 30 for two weeks now and have had no reactions at all. Highly recommend :)

Great, non-drying, and hypoallergenic physical/chemical SPF combo
This is the third EltaMD product I have tried, and the one that has overall worked best. UV Clear and UV Shield worked well in my oilier areas, but were too drying on some parts of my combination skin, so I tried UV Facial since dry flaky skin is no fun. This works much better on sensitive and dry areas like the chin, around the mouth, and undereyes. It can be a bit shiny overall, and greasy on my forehead, but if I brush on a bit of mineral powder on my T-zone after application, it works fine. Or use UV Shield on the T-zone and Facial everywhere else, but it would be annoying to have to use 2 separate sunscreens for your face. This would probably be less of an issue in the winter. If you're looking for a mineral/physical combo sunscreen that is not as drying as other zinc oxide-based sunscreens, and want to avoid scents and other unnecessary ingredients, this is a great option. I wish it was a little less heavy feeling, but it's the closest thing I've found to an almost-perfect sunscreen that works on all areas of my face and neck.

Not for acne prone skin.
I originally loved this sunscreen because it applies beautifully and protects well. However if you're prone to acne, STAY AWAY! This sunscreen broke me out horribly. If you aren't acne prone you'll love it though.
