EltaMD UV Facial Broad-Spectrum SPF 30 Plus (formerly EltaMD UV Facial SPF 30 Plus) protects the skin especially dry and sensitive skin after microdermabrasion, laser and peel treatments. The lightweight formula shields the skin from damaging UVA and UVB rays and also moisturizes for a smooth complexion. Vitamin E shields the skin from free-radical damage to prevent early signs of aging.

- Zinc Oxide: natural mineral compound that works as a sunscreen agent by reflecting and scattering UVA and UVB rays
- Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid): retains moisture and improves skin feel by reducing flaking and restoring suppleness

Sheer & Not Smelly
I'm into it. I have used other moisturizers with SPF but this one sinks in quickly and doesn't leave me feeling greasy. My skin is combination and I have had no issues with this product. A big plus is that it doesn't have a lot of other stuff in it that gives it a scent. You also cannot smell the SPF the way you can in other creams.

Excellent basic sunscreen!
Super pleased that I finally gave EltaMD sunscreens a shot after being fed up with weird textures, white cast, and awful pilling from various sunscreens from the drugstore. While it does have a bit of that familiar sunscreen scent, the texture is pretty much akin to a moisturizer and it goes on like one! It absorbs within about a couple minutes, even with a generous amount, and it only leaves behind a very, very slightly dewy finish. I'm beyond thrilled to have finally found a sunscreen that works this well. No more compromises for me, or choosing to skip sunscreen due to my annoyances!

For reference, I have light neutral skin and am a Fitzpatrick skin type 2. I consider my skin type as dry. I originally purchased this product to mix in with my tinted EltaMD sunscreens during the winter to achieve a lighter color, but I decided to try it out this summer as a single product! am very impressed with the way that the product absorbs into the skin. I apply a generous amount to my entire face, neck, and ears and while it is a white cream, it absorbs after about 1 minute of active application to clear and without casting. It is moisturizing and has provided excellent sun protection. I am looking forward to trying it out in the winter months as well!
