EltaMD UV Facial Broad-Spectrum SPF 30 Plus (formerly EltaMD UV Facial SPF 30 Plus) protects the skin especially dry and sensitive skin after microdermabrasion, laser and peel treatments. The lightweight formula shields the skin from damaging UVA and UVB rays and also moisturizes for a smooth complexion. Vitamin E shields the skin from free-radical damage to prevent early signs of aging.

Great Fall/Winter Sunscreen
I've been on the lookout for a sunscreen that comes in a container that has a better shot at being recycled than the pump bottles. I recently bought this one so I'm not sure how it'll fare during the sweatiest parts of summer, but it's a winner for milder temperatures. I have combo skin that goes very dry as soon as September hits and I've loved this sunscreen. It absorbs fairly quickly (especially for how viscous it seems right out of the bottle) and I love love the finish. It may not be for you if you have oilier skin or prefer a matte look, but it's perfect if you like glowy finish. I've also been having a lot more pimples than ever in my life, and have finally gotten that situation under control. This hasn't triggered any additional acne or irritation.

pretty solid suncreen
I have medium/fair toned skin w/oily t-zone and very sensitive skin. Can't wear any foundation or heavier tinted moisturizer without breaking out the next day or a couple days later. So when I look for sunscreens it needs to be very light but with sufficient protection. Was using La Roche Posay's Antihelios Clear Skin Dry Touch Suncreen previously but found sometimes it would leave a bit of a white cast. On the spectrum of various sunscreens, this particular Elta MD formula is a medium/heavier viscosity but applies very well without any cast, and absorbs well. Also great that it has no "sunscreen" scent. Wore it about 2 weeks every days during the weekdays and my skin is mostly happy but I did notice a little bit more little pimples here and there. Overall not bad but not sure if I'll order this again.

Absolutely Essential for Dry Skin
I have sensitive skin and have used this sunscreen during various stages of reutilization, adjusting to new skincare treatments, and even over cuts and allergic rashes. It is the only product I can use on my skin no matter what shape it's in. On the cosmetic side, it is a little shiny and has a small amount of white cast. I like to use UV Physical over it (when my skin isn't super dry).

I have tried "lots" of sunscreens. Designer , department store, drugstore , best rated , all natural, Brazilian, Australian! None live up to Elta MD ! I have dry , sensitive skin and Elta works for me. It goes on smooth, moisturizes , does not break me out and fully protects my skin. I can wear it over or under my makeup . It is not sticky or clammy and does not make me miserable in south Florida humidity; the toughest. Elta has protected me in Iceland, Mexico , Peru , and stands up daily to Florida sun. I am very fair and to complicate things take medicine that increases my sun sensitivity. Elta has me protected and comfortably!

Didn't like it for my face. I use it as a hand lotion now.
I thought this product would work perfectly for me since I have dry skin and needed help with moisture. This product did not helped with my dry skin. First, it did not glide well on my skin which caused a lot of pulling when trying to rub it in. In addition to that, it appeared chalky on my skin which was a major turnoff. Finally, it was really greasy but didn't seem to increase the moisture in my skin. I ended up using this as a hand lotion instead. I wouldn't buy it again.

Best sunscreen for the face
I've tried a number of other sunscreens for my face, but this is the only one that works for me. It doesn't sting my eyes, goes on smoothly without a white sheen and keeps my skin moisturized. It is also fragrance-free, which is great if you're sensitive to scents like I am.
