Does not irritate skin but leaves white cast
I've tried many different brands and this one by far is the best for skin, it does not irritate my skin. I was skeptical about using an SPF above 30 because anything higher than that would puff up my face and irritate my skin, after seeing great reviews I gave this SPF 40 a shot, and it doesn't irritate my skin at all. My only problem it's that it leaves my face white. I do a layer, blended in well let it dry, then follow with a second layer, and I look like I have a baby powder all over my face, and i refuse to go out without sunscreen so i walk around excusing myself to my coworkers telling them I'm using this till i get the next one lol. I just ordered the tinted one, I'll mix them both and see how it goes.

Best US sunscreen I’ve tried
I’m on the hunt for a holy grail sunscreen and this comes close. There’s no white cast, it’s definitely less drying that other physical filter sunscreens, it doesn’t seem to break me out, and it lasted all day. Probably would repurchase. Only downside is the small size, I feel like wearing this daily I would go through it in a couple months.

Believe the hype
I’m a spf fiend, and I’m constantly looking for the “holy grail” and lets say this one is legit might be it. I’m gonna keep using this for a very long time. The texture is bomb, the smell is ok, little but like crayons, but nothing super crazy, and the smell doesn’t linger. Feels awesome, doesn’t leave a white film. Now I understand why all my other Esthes love it.

Doesn't leave white cast but stings eyes
Feels moisturizing, texture is good, blends into skin. One thing to note, I got a white cast when I applied it on completely dry skin. Applying it as my serum is drying down, I don't get any white cast. I have light skin with warm undertone. I really like it except for the fact that it stings my eyes pretty badly. Debating on whether to return.

Elta md spf is the best.
I love this sunsreen, I use it around my eyes, temples and mouth. It is light, moisturizing and does not irritate my sensitive skin. My eyelids are extremely sensitive and this is perfect. I use Elta UV Clear everywhere else on my face.
