EltaMD's UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 - Tinted calms and protects sensitive skin types prone to discoloration and breakouts from the sun's harmful rays. The universally flattering tint blends to match your skin tone and mask discoloration and breakouts to give you a smooth, flawless-looking complexion. Healing niacinamide alleviates inflammation to calm your acne flare-ups and helps decrease signs of hyperpigmentation.

Best Sunscreen Ever
I was introduced to Elta MD about two years ago from my dermatologist and was given a ton of samples for the different sunscreens. While I liked that all of them provided great protection and didn't make my face oily, the consistency for the others was either too thick or gave a white cast. This one is by far the best. It is not greasy, blends in nicely into my tan skin, and sits well under makeup. I was very excited to try it and am thoroughly impressed. I might buy some for my family too!!

Light coverage, no breakouts
As a sunscreen, I think it probably functions well. Good SPF and easy to spread. The coverage/color is very light - this is not a thicker tinted sunscreen. This is for when you want your natural skin to shine through and want mineral coverage, but don’t want to look white. Something like MyChelle covers better if you’re looking to even out skin tone. Or even Cliniques foundation serum (not sure if that’s mineral though) provides SPF 25 but also legit coverage. For someone with naturally oily skin, this sunscreen becomes a touch oily as the day goes on (more so than the MyChelle and Clinique products). A little seems to go a long way though this is a small container - much smaller than you expect from a sunscreen. Packaging is more like a skin care product (tiny amounts, high $$) than a sunscreen. It has not broken me out at all. I also use Elta MD moisturizer.

My stranded-on-an-island product
You know the question: If you were stranded on an island, what item(s) would you have with you? This. Definitely this. I swear by this sunscreen and have turned so many friends onto it. EltaMD makes me look forward to applying my sunscreen each day, and even reapplying throughout the day. Once you try this, you won't have a good excuse to not put on your sunscreen.

Blends crazy well, blew my mind!
When I first started using this product I was almost worried it wasn’t working, because it blended in so well with my Fitzpatrick II - III skin tone that I couldn’t see it at all! Never breaks me out, though I will say that I do occasionally have some redness on my forehead from it (maybe it’s the niacinamide?). Still, overall it works well for my sensitive, combination skin.

Best sunscreen
I’ve tried a lot sunscreens, and this is by far the best one I’ve ever used. Feels like a water cream going on. The only reason I stopped using this one was because I fell in love with their tinted version. But if you don’t like tinted, this is your holy grail sunscreen. This brand will be my go-to for sunscreens from now on. Been using for about a year now.
