No white cast at all
One of my favorite Youtubers (Liah Yoo) has been raving about the regular (non-tinted) version of this for what feels like years. I've never been a fan of physical sunscreens (such as zinc oxide) as they always seem to be heavier and leave more of a white cast. Although I have fair skin, with all the great lighter formulas in the market nowadays, I just can't see myself reaching for a sunscreen like that anymore. Elta MD has somehow made a great sunscreen that leaves my skin dewy (but not greasy or oily), evens out my complexion, and does a great job of protecting my skins from the sun. I chose the tinted version of this sunscreen to make sure that there would be no white cast at all. The tint seems like it would be quite a bit too dark for my fair complexion but it blends out quite sheer (coverage reminds me of Glossier's skin tint - very minimal) so it ends up not looking like I'm wearing anything, but my skin just looks healthier and has more of a glow. I think that this tint would work on any skin tone, from the most fair to the deepest. I also love to see niacinamide in skin care products (I love my niacinamide serum from the Ordinary) as it's done a lot to control oil in my T-zone. Highly recommend this sunscreen overall!

The best daily sunscreen
I wear this daily even if I'm not going to be outside for any extended period. I have very sensitive skin that is prone to congestion-this does not break me out. I do use a makeup removing face wash every night. This sunscreen has a very sheer natural tint that blends easily. It's not white or chalky or hard to blend. I like that it doesn't settle in my lines or pores or "look" like makeup.

My husband's favorite
He loves this tinted version of his favorite sunscreen. It was recommended by his dermatologist. Goes on so easily and blends in nicely. Highly recommend.

The best!
Let me start by saying that I am extremely oily. I dread wearing moisturizer, sunscreen, etc. I wear them because I know it's essential to prevent even more oil. Until I tried this sunscreen I thought every sunscreen would eventually make me greasier as the day progressed. I was wrong!!! I love this sunscreen and it wears well under all makeup. No grease effect when I place my mattifying primer on top. My "manly" husband even says this stuff is great. He HATES lotions, sunscreens, and anything else that can be placed on skin. Buy this sunscreen, you won't regret it. The tinted one is just as nice too

Not for acne prone skin
Not good for acne prone skin! I prefer the normal version of this product (without tint).

Stick with the non-tinted if you have fair skin
I have fair, cool toned skin, and I only need light coverage to even out my skin tone. I love the non-tinted formula, and was hoping this would save me a step in my morning routine. Unfortunately, the shade is too dark and yellow for me.

Best sunscreen for acne
I love all of elta md products. This sunscreen is very light feeling. I haven't broke out since I switched to it from the physical sunscreen.

Love this sunscreen!
Very effective sunscreen! I used this as the only thing on my face at the beach, and it kept me from burning, I just got a nice tan instead. Only gave 4 stars because it does go on greasy, however it doesn't break me out ( and my skin is very acne-prone). Also I like the tinted version because it blends well with my pale skin tone and doesn't look too dark. I use this as my daily sunscreen and will continue to use it!

MY ALL TIME FAVORITE SPF
I have tried so many SPF creams! My friend who is an aesthetician gave me a bottle for my birthday and I could not believe how great it was. Most of the time my skin is too shiny or greasy or they clog my pores. This makes my skin looks beautiful! I put it on, concealer, and I'm good to go. It's a must try! I also love their eye cream, just fyi.

Good if you have dry skin and don't want to layer products.
It has a very runny texture and is very hydrating (maybe too much if you have oily skin). I use it after the CE Ferulic serum. If I use any moisturizers or anti-aging cream, my face is too oily and shiny after I apply it (I live in a dry desert climate). If l get it again, I would get the non-tinted one, since the tint is not noticeable (because of its runny texture). I love the packing though. I wish they all came in the same container. If you want a bit of coverage go with their tinted elements sunscreen as it is a little thicker but still moisturizing.
