EltaMD's UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 - Tinted calms and protects sensitive skin types prone to discoloration and breakouts from the sun's harmful rays. The universally flattering tint blends to match your skin tone and mask discoloration and breakouts to give you a smooth, flawless-looking complexion. Healing niacinamide alleviates inflammation to calm your acne flare-ups and helps decrease signs of hyperpigmentation.

- 9.0% Transparent Zinc Oxide: protects the skin against damaging UVA (aging) and UVB (burning) rays
- 5% High-Purity Niacinamide (Vitamin B3): helps reduce the appearance of blemishes, discoloration and photo-damage

Prefer the Untinted
I love EltaMD untinted sunblock but thought I would try this version. Unfortunately, the tinted version leaves a dark line of residue along my hair and jaw line. It is also thicker than the untinted formula.

Everyone raved about this so I had to try it out. Thinner consistency than I was expecting and does feel more like sunscreen than face cream- won't be replacing your face cream, but a great sunscreen for daily use. If you aren't much of a makeup wearer- the tinted is great (I'm skipping my tinted moisturizer and just using this instead).

Does what it's supposed to
My overall takeaway from this product is that is does what it is intended to do- protect your skin from the sun without causing breakouts or clogging pores. I feel as though this is the miracle product for oily skin; but skin that can sometimes be oily and sometimes be dry, like mine, needs a bit more moisture than this product provides. However, I do love that I felt completely safe from this product seeing how clear it kept my skin and how effective it is as a sunscreen. Would recommend to anyone who suffers from prone-to-breakout skin!
