Elta MD not only protects, but actually improves my skin. I have sensitive skin, but not a lot of break-outs, and this products has benefited me greatly. Skin is less red, less irritated, and is never clogged. The sunscreen dries clear, and you can apply make-up directly over it without any hitches (no clumps, etc). It also doesn't cause a ton of shine under make-up.
