This is a great, lightweight, non-irritating, non-greasy formula. holy grail sunblock
I've tried dozens of sunblocks, both mineral and chemical. The chemical ones have an unpleasant scent and irritate my rosacea-plagued skin. But the mineral ones were either not a high enough SPF or they were kind of chalky. Elta goes on looking a bit chalky but absorbs quickly. It is incredibly gentle and unscented. It does leave my nose a bit shiny but I put a light dusting of powder over it and then it's perfect. It's a highly effective sunblock, it doesn't make me break out, it stays on a long time, but it washes off well at the end of the day. I also use it on my neck and chest. The only down side is the container, because you can't tell when you're running out. I can't speak to how it works under makeup, because I use it by itself with just a little powder. Great product. Expensive, but it's a good investment.

The niacinamide is great for the complextion. I notice a little lightening of my dark spots. the brand was recommended by my dermatologist. It's not waterproof, though
