Meet our newest Elements - an antioxidant-rich facial SPF made for skin, not just the sun. The technology in UV AOX Elements not only protects your skin outdoors, with 100% mineral actives to reflect and scatter UVA and UVB rays, but also protects your skin indoors by blocking 56% of HEV (blue light from screens), which is 39% more than our original UV Elements formula. This tinted sunscreen contains antioxidants that help to combat signs of photoaging, such as fine lines and wrinkles, and is proven to reduce detrimental effects of multi-environmental aggressors (i.e., UV, Ozone and PM) by 96%. UV AOX Elements features hyaluronic acid to increase hydration and moisture retention, and bisabolol & ginger root to help calm the skin and visibly reduce redness.

All time favorite mineral sunscreen
I repurchase this over and over. It’s a perfect hydrating mineral sunscreen which works well with my dry skin. It has a slight blurring effect so I don’t need to wear make up during the day.

Perfect everyday sunscreen
Was using Asian (Korean and Japanese) for the longest time because I prefer the way they feel, then got pregnant and wanted to switch to a physical/mineral sunscreen to be extra cautious. Purchased this one and it is perfect for me. The texture is superb (obviously its texture is different from a chemical sunscreen, especially the Asian ones I'm used to), it goes on super smoothly, and sort of blurs out the skin a bit with the slight tint. I'm a good colour match but it doesn't feel like you need to be because it's so sheer, it mostly just has a blurring effect. I really enjoy using this and it will be in my arsenal forever and ever.

IMO UV Elements is okay, but not my favorite EltaMD SPF. I only purchase tinted mineral sunscreens. The tint on this one is a little too dark for my light skin tone. The consistency is thick like a BB cream. It spreads well and blends into skin well, but the thick feeling on my skin does not go away. Reapplication goes on well too, with no pilling, but again it just adds onto the thick feeling. I prefer the tinted UV Clear SPF, which also has a slightly higher SPF rating.
