Meet our newest Elements - an antioxidant-rich facial SPF made for skin, not just the sun. The technology in UV AOX Elements not only protects your skin outdoors, with 100% mineral actives to reflect and scatter UVA and UVB rays, but also protects your skin indoors by blocking 56% of HEV (blue light from screens), which is 39% more than our original UV Elements formula. This tinted sunscreen contains antioxidants that help to combat signs of photoaging, such as fine lines and wrinkles, and is proven to reduce detrimental effects of multi-environmental aggressors (i.e., UV, Ozone and PM) by 96%. UV AOX Elements features hyaluronic acid to increase hydration and moisture retention, and bisabolol & ginger root to help calm the skin and visibly reduce redness.

Not for Me
Felt heavy on my skin (like I was wearing foundation) and made me oily. Made pores more visible. The tint - definitely not universal; cool tones beware, this might make you look a little orange.

Favorite sunscreen
Hands down my favorite sunscreen to use daily - I love that it is chemical free. It goes on clear but has a nice tint and never leaves my face greasy. Win win!

Tint too orange
Sadly this product looked too orange/fake tan on my face (I'm Asian with light skin). I was hoping this would work out to be a hydrating option. I have been using the EltaMD UV physical SPF 41, which complements my skin tone perfectly, but was hoping to find a more hydrating option. This did feel nice and hydrating on the skin, but the tint was just too much. If it came in "lightly tinted" like UV physical SPF 41, I think it would be perfect for me.

Wonderful sunscreen
It's a stable formula which goes on evenly and smoothly. It's not greasy or too thick. There's no scent and doesn't create a mess as you get the product out.

Wanted to Love But Fell Flat
I really wanted to love this, because it seems to work so well for others, but it just didn't work for me. I have light, cool-toned skin and echo others that it definitely was orange-y for my skin tone. It also rubbed off SO much on my masks that I was worried that by the time I got to where I was going and could take my mask off to be outside, that the protection was gone. Finally, the packaging sealed the deal on me not getting this again. As I was getting low on product, the pump started acting up and would spurt out. It would always-always, I don't know how it was propelled BACKWARD-end up on my clothes and would not come out. I had to immediately change and put stain remover/wash a delicate shirt and when it came out, the stain was still there. I washed a second time and it's less noticeable, but I can definitely tell it's there. I don't want to risk my clothes for a product that is just okay for me overall. I did think it went on smoothly, and made my skin look good. But the cons outweighed the pros for me, and I won't be repurchasing.

Too dark for my complexion
I love Elta MD sunscreen products however, this one didn't work for me. It's a little too dark and seemed rather dry to me.

Great sunscreen!
I bought this based on the recommendation of one of youtuber. It is very moisturizing. I mix this with a white mineral sunscreen to match with my Asian skin tone.

A New Favorite!
I've been wearing the UV Elements sunscreen for a few weeks and am very happy with it. The tint is a warm peachy tone. It's little dark for my skin tone, but it is doable. Makes me look slightly tanned. The finish is nice, not shiny and more on the dewy side. I re-apply this several time a day and have no issue with piling or balling. Looks good after multiple applications. This sunscreen has a nice feel on the skin, I don't even notice it. It does not settle into lines or pores. Yay, no white dots on my face from settling into my big pores. No problem with running into my eyes or causing stinging. The price point on this sunscreen is good too compared with other similar sunscreens. Definitely worth a try.

My favorite EltaMD sunscreen
This is the 3rd sunscreen I've tried from Elta, and it is by far my favorite. I need to use physical/mineral sunscreens (chemical sunscreen irritates my skin), and I prefer tinted, as to avoid the white cast. This one is both moisturizing (though, not enough to use by itself), doesn't pill, and sets to a really lovely glowing finish. It's not sparkly or over the top - my skin just looks dewy and healthy. Really pleased with this product, and I will very likely repurchase.
