EltaMD UV Aero Broad-Spectrum SPF 45 shields the skin from the harmful effects of the sun. Zinc oxide provides protection from UVA and UVB rays to prevent sun and aging damage. The lightweight formula goes on white and dries to a clear finish without leaving skin greasy.
Shake well before use. Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Do not apply in windy conditions. Hold can (upright or inverted) 4 to 6 inches away from body and apply liberally, spraying slowly and evenly until product is visible on skin. Gently rub in. Do not spray into face. Spray into hand and apply to the face. Use in well ventilated areas. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating and immediately after towel drying at least every 2 hours.

I love how lightweight this product is. I only use it for my face and I have another sunscreen for my body. It is not oily for my combination skin. However, I have to be diligent in making sure that it is applied in a manner that doesn't make me look ashy.

Like all EltaMD products, this sunscreen is awesome. I've never had an issue with burning when using their products. This sprays on easy, stays on during activity and keeps you from burning. Great for Sensitive Skin!!
This has been the best sunscreen for body use (facial use in a pinch) that doesn't irritate my skin! I used this from spring to fall, and my skin did not change color!! This is huge for me, since I am at risk for melanoma. If you have eczema, buy this- you will not be disappointed!! Oh, the product feels initially greasy and looks white, but it dries down to a skin-like finish without a white cast. I have olive skin for reference.

we should all be applying sunscreen twice a day. In the am and mid-day. This product is great for reapplying sunscreen. I use my Elta MD clear broad tinted in the am and for mid day I use the aero version on top of my makeup., I'd recommend to give the product a few second so it can fully absorb to your skin. I wish they had a travel size for this. Elta MD: you need to make a travel size for this product. There should be the convenience of putting it inside a cosmetic bag.

The only sunscreen I don't hate
A strange tagline, I realize, but it's true. I have tried so many different sunscreens over the year, I have lost count. This is the only one that seems to tick all my boxes. From reading other reviews, I get the impression most people use this as a sunscreen for body, but I use it on my face! I don't like applying sunscreen lotions because I find they often pill or otherwise interfere with my moisturizer. 2-in-1 moisturizer/sunscreen products have never worked for me either, they are always either too greasy or sometimes even drying! I have also tried tinted sunscreen (I think it is called Daily) from Elta MD which is meant to be moisturizing, but this flaked on my skin. With all my struggles over the years to find the right SPF solution, I've found that this is it for me. I prefer using a dedicated moisturizer because I know which products work for me, and then putting on the Elta UV Aero. This product has little to no interference with the other aspects of my morning skincare regimen. It is list and feels smooth when applied - never cakey or chalky like many other sunscreens feel for me. The smell is not horrible, but not really pleasant either. The application can be a bit annoying, because you have to spray it into your hands and apply to the face rather than spraying directly onto the face. I don't think this is a design flaw, rather the reality of needing thorough, even coverage which a spray mechanism can literally not provide. I also am reticent to put this on immediately after moisturizing, but I don't feel like sitting around and delaying my day while I wait for product to absorb. My biggest beef is the size of the canister. WHY is it only available in this enormous size? I use other, much less pricy sunscreens for body - I have unique skincare concerns for my face (sensitivity, acne) which don't extend elsewhere. It's a minor gripe that this huge, rather cumbersome sunscreen doesn't fit in a dopp kit with all my other skincare products. It is too large to bring in a carry-on though and that is the real issue. I regularly travel on weekends and for work without check-in luggage, and this forces me to use other, inferior sunscreens which don't work as well for me. Overall it is a good product I'll continue to use (until or if I find something I like more), but it should really be available in a smaller size as well!.

Great for people who don't like to apply lotion
I typically don't like to buy spray sunscreen but I purchased this for my fiance who has a lot of body hair which makes applying lotion difficult and with that a challenge to talk him into apply sunscreen in the sun. I find this spray not sticky and still protecting. I buy it for our vacations.

I love this brand, almost everything I've bought works with my sensitive, reactive skin(with the exception of UV clear, but that's on me: my skin can't tolerate niacinamide). It's a mixture of both chemical and physical, and although I prefer mineral sunscreens I've yet to find one that doesn't leave your skin a white streaky mess. I wear a lot of black, it gets gross. Despite the zinc dries on clear and it doesn't have an overpowering scent and it's effective. I use it daily. You should too.
