EltaMD UV Aero Broad-Spectrum SPF 45 shields the skin from the harmful effects of the sun. Zinc oxide provides protection from UVA and UVB rays to prevent sun and aging damage. The lightweight formula goes on white and dries to a clear finish without leaving skin greasy.
Shake well before use. Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Do not apply in windy conditions. Hold can (upright or inverted) 4 to 6 inches away from body and apply liberally, spraying slowly and evenly until product is visible on skin. Gently rub in. Do not spray into face. Spray into hand and apply to the face. Use in well ventilated areas. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating and immediately after towel drying at least every 2 hours.

I didn't love this
I didn't love the aerosol as much as I do on other store bought sunscreens. It's a little difficult to push down to spray and the coverage isn't a very wide spray

THE only sunscreen I use
This is THE only sunscreen I use on myself, toddler and baby. I don't even mess around with any other brand any more. It's the zinc and it's well worth the price. I purchase one to two every summer season and use diligently. 110% recommend!

sprays out like a FIRE HOSE
no joke... I bought it primarily for face, decolletage, and hands, and was expecting the spray to dispense in fine droplets and gently... what I got was very coarse/large droplet spray that shot out with great intensity and showered everything in the immediate vicinity. It was disastrous and very unpleasant to have to clean up. I really like all the other EltaMD products, so I was very surprised about how poorly the spray dispenser is designed. Based on other reviews, I'm wondering if mine was defective? w/e, I'm not willing to wait another month to get a new one, and chance it not working... so I'm going back to my 2 tried & true, Supergoop & Colorescience.

Giving it a try
Recently had surgery to remove an infiltrated basal cell carcinoma from my leg and my dermatologist recommended using a broad-spectrum sunscreen from now on. I have not been faithful using sunscreen in the past but am dedicated to now! So far I like that it is a spray and goes on white so I can see if I have missed any areas then it dries clear. It is fragrance-free, oil-free and great for sensitive skin. By reading other reviews I have high hopes for this sunscreen.

I have used EltaMD facial sunscreen for years on the recommendation of my dermatologist. When I saw this product I decided to give it a try since it seems like the rest of my body would get burned after a day in the sun even though I was using a body sunscreen.
