Made with zinc oxide, it helps to reflect and scatter UVA and UVB rays while knotgrass extract, rich in flavonoids, combats the signs of aging.

This sunscreen a very high zinc content, 19%, and that’s what’s important to me as most of my exercise activity is outdoors. It goes on smoothly, not greasy, and yes initially has a white cast, but it absorbs and diminishes quickly. Best Buy for the buck too!

All my sunblocks are Elta. This particular one is all mineral. Plus: absolutely no sun gets through it for me. Minus: that because it is very very very thick. Hard to rub in, see white even hours later.

Great sun protection and non-greasy feel. Unfortunately, the product is thick and requires a lot of rubbing. Leaves a slight cast. Develops thick white build-up in creases (with sweating or humidity). Leaves skin dry and accentuates fine lines on hands.

I use this for the Pool or beach. doesn't sting my eyes at all which is great. leaves a little bit of white residue, but doesn't take too long to absorb. I am very fair and this protects my skin well in the southern sun

BEST SUNSCREEN FOR A REDHEAD
I actually bought this by mistake. I am so glad I did. I am 60 years and have very fair freckled skin. Also very sun damaged. I have used this product the last 2 weeks on my arms and legs and no irritation at all. And no sunburn at all. I use other EltaMd products on my face. I did put this on my face and same thing - no problems at all. Also washes off easily.
