Awful dispenser
I’ve always loved this product but this dispenser is awful. It has to be put upside down to get any product out which also means there’s significant product waste. With the cost they should have a better dispenser. They’d be better off with a dropper or even just a regular tube.

Great serum for sensitive skin.
A couple of years back, I had the misfortune of having a facial that damaged my sensitive skin. The esthetician was not a new one for me, and he knew well that my skin is very delicate. I do not know what happened to her that day, but whatever she did gave me a face as red as a boiled lobster. I chatted with Dermstore and the representative transferred me to an esthetician. She was wonderful and patiently listening to the facts. She recommended me this Elta MD serum and I bought it. She also recommended to keep it cold, so in my fridge it is. This serum has improved my skin considerably since that awful facial experience. I will never replace it with any other. It is light but effective and my 70+ years old face appreciates it very much. Coming from me, you can be sure that, if your skin is sensitive or reacts to almost everything, this serum will be a blessing without any risks.

this is a slightly-thick gel that spreads well without stickiness. it leaves an almost matte finish. i find it neither drying nor hydrating. it has an odd earthy scent, with a tinge of some chemical aroma also. the scent does not linger.

Not for me
Usually I have good experience with EltaMD family; however, this product was making my skin dry and itchy. I have sensitive fair skin and my skin gets irritated easily if the product contains alcohol or fragrance. I won't recommend it.
